Vomiting Blood

Has anyone had any experience of vomiting with Lisinopril? I've been prescribed them today, after two weeks of home monitoring of blood pressure. I've read a few horror stories, but few positive ones (largely, I think as people generally comment on negatives and not positives). Most of the side effects of this, or any medication, don't bother me, but I do have a severe phobia of vomiting. A few comments I've read elsewhere have indicated that coughing can be so bad it induces vomiting or triggers the gag reflex. What have your experiences of lisinopril been, particularly with regard to gastrointestinal issues, particularly nausea and vomiting? My wife has been on Letairis for just 2-days and she is already vomiting. What should she take to control the vomiting. I would appreciate any suggestions. We will call our physician on Monday. ## Hello, Jimbo! How is your wife doing? I'm sorry about the problem she's having. However, with BPH, she shouldn't take anything, without her doctor's approval. Many things could interact dangerously, or aggravate her condition. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Letairis as possibly including nausea, edema, low red blood cell levels, sinusitis and hot flashes. Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm a 70yr old female experiencing vomiting. Hi, I was hoping that I may find some people to with similar symptoms after taking Brintellix. 25th of June I began Brintellix on 10mg, then on the 19th of August I increased Brintellix to 20mg During that time I seemed to have few negative side effects. However as of the 31st of October I found myself Vomiting, and have been nauseated ever since. And yesterday (the 14th of November) I found myself vomiting again. I went to my MD who did not look at my blood pressure, temperature or heart rate; this after I gave the MD my history. I got sick suddenly on Tuesday night, with a high temperature, diarrhea, vomiting and body pain. They did not examine me. I was put on a bed and taken straight to the ER room for vitamins in drip and Buscopan. I was then sent home with a script only to find out it is only tans 3x 500mg one a day, plus Zelitrex tabs which is used to treat and prevent (recurring) infections with the herpes viruses. These include the viruses that cause: Cold sores (herpes simplex) - a burning and/or tingling sensation on or around the lips that develops into painful, fluid-filled blisters with scabs. Its an expensive medicine and the doctors seem to be very interested in pushing it. The only thing good about it will be for the med corporations. ## Doctors will generally try to push new medications, to see if they work better than the old ones, since new ones are being discovered all the time and there have been many cases where something was new but found to be safer and more effective. Thus, it's just natural for a doctor to do that, to try to help their patients, as much as possible. Tyvaso is used to treat PAH, so yes, it can seriously lower someone's blood pressure, that's what it's really intended to do. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and vomiting. My father is taking Metolar XR-25 for high blood pressure for last 6 years. Now he is feeling getting headaches, gets unconscious for some time, and after vomiting he feels little better. I have taken him a good doctor, did the Brain CT scan, complete blood test, Thyro test. All reports are normal. Can anybody please tell me if it Metolar side effects? What is this medication used for? Is it related to blood pressure or for acidity?? ## Actually, Ondamac (Ondansetron) is most commonly used to treat or prevent nausea, and vomiting, as reported by the NIH. Hello. I m Avni,age 19, suffered from bloody stools for 2 days before a month and was given antibiotic and laxative thenafter i suffered from gas/acidity while my laxative was on. I had nausea vomiting during that time and then suffered from diarrhoea and nausea continued. My blood and stool reports were normal. I was told it may be due to some infection or overdose of laxative. I was given prebiotics and symptomatic treatment for nausea and gas,etc. My sonography reports were even normal. They work great for me but a short time ago I started to vomit blood, I was also taking asprin . Is there any thing I can do to be able to take I b466 and be safe? ## Have you had yourself checked out to see why you were vomiting blood? That's really the first thing you need to do. Many times when that happens, it's due to either an ulcer, or gastritis and then it may not be a good idea to take Aspirin or this Ibuprofen tablet for awhile, until you can get it cleared up. My son is 8 and he has autism. He has never been on medication before. He is now on Intuniv and today was the 2nd day he took it. His blood pressure was low, he was vomiting and slept out of the ordinary. Unfortunately the Dr never told me that foods high in fat increases the side effects. I'm afraid to keep giving it. Taking tracleer for ph for years. I'm 26 yrs old & weigh 133 lbs. I was taking 125mg 2x's a day. Blood work had been fine, Dec blood work showed high liver enzymes. All other test fine.
