Vicodin 10 325

I Took my prescription to a pharmacy to be filled and they said they couldn't fill it because that strength 10 325 doesn't exist anymore with Vicodin. They said the doctor should've made the prescription out for either 10/300 or Norco 10/325. I went to another chain pharmacy and they said there was no problem at all and they filled the prescription and said the law allowed them to generically fill the prescription with either Norco 10/325 or Vicodin 10/300 which ever they had available as long as it wasn't over 10/325. Would 3 tablets of m325 be the same as taking one and a half Vicodin 10? ## Hello, Kyle! How are you? Do you mean the white tablet with the marking M523 on one side and 10/325 on the other? If so, it is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. In this case, you have the conversion backwards, because Oxycodone is stronger than Hydrocodone. Taking 30mgs of it would be equal to taking 45mgs of Hydrocodone. Thus, it just takes one of these tablets to equal one a half Vicodin 10/325. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have severe degenerative disc disease. I recieve fyntinal patch and 10-325 hydrocodone and this has been ongoing 10years or so. I have learned not all hydrocodone is the same and that using the same hydrocodone loses its effect but changing the generic hydricodone manufacturer can help keep the effects of the medication working at its peak. ## Hi roro, Sorry to hear about your condition. I received some Norco the other day that I do not recognize. They are orange in color inside and out, snap easily in half and dissolve very quickly in water. They are about the same color as the old orange baby aspirin. They had the typical markings with a fancy V in one side and 3605 on the other. These are the same markings as the Vicodin I usually get and they were the exact same shape but the color and consistency were wrong. A friend used some and she noticed they dissolve very quickly and leave a grit in the glass. Has anyone else run across these or are they an actual new Vicodin? May thanks

I have MS and have used vicodin for specific MS related pain relief for over 4 years. I had been taking 7.5-500 vicodin but they have since been discontinued due to the high level of acetaminophen. I take up to 4 pills a day of 7.5-325 vicodin. My question is would changing from 7.5-325 to 10-325 vicodin create the possibility that I may not need up to 4 pills per day? How can you tell if a Vicodin 10/325 Is real? It is easier to snap in half than usual. Does that make a difference? Is there any other way to determine if they are real or not?
