Vaginal And Bactrim

I took low dose Bactrim for 5 weeks for a UTI. While on it I started having vaginal burning. Called Dr about it who advised me to stop taking it. That was almost 4 weeks ago and still having vaginal pain and burning. Vulva is all red and inflamed. Very little itching. Tested negative for yeast and bacteria. Can't understand why it's gotten worse when I've been off the drug for 4 weeks! ## Are you on any other medications? Are you actively engaging in intercourse? Do you frequently take tub baths, or use a hot tub? There are various reasons why this could occur, according to FDA and NIH reports. Are you diabetic? Do you have any other diagnosed medical conditions? ## Was also on Uribel at the time for bladder pain. Went off that 3 weeks ago. No to all other questions.

Can bactrim ds be inserted vaginally if not able to keep down orally ? ## Hello, Kels! How are you? No, that wouldn't be a good idea. Since they aren't manufactured to be used as pessaries and antibiotics can cause yeast infections…well, I think you can see where I'm going with this. Learn more Bactrim details here.* If you can't keep it down orally, then you may want to talk to your doctor about trying a different antibiotic that won't be so harsh on your stomach, or see if they can prescribe an antiemetic to prevent the vomiting. I took bactrim generic to treat a vaginal labia cyst in late Oct, marsupialization surgery. The heavy duty bactrim seemingly got rid of the infection in that spot. That said, I suffered, for five weeks from acid poo and skin irritation down there, colitis syptoms like eat and then toilet time diarhea for five weeks. Plus, I got a painful diaper rash, and two yeast infections. Also, every time I shaved, even with a premium new razor - I got cuts on my thighs that filled with small amounts of pus. I added a daily vitamin, calcium and a probiotic to my diet which stopped the acid ass and #2 diarrhea. Ugh! 40 days since the cyst, I got another bad infection. Deep in left butt cheek. Dr. Ordered up Bactrim again. I near immediately got a major headache which awoke me in the night - a horrend...

I tested HIV+ last year in December and since then i have been taking the Ilvitrim tablets but i am always having an itchy rash on my vagina. Is it due to the ilvirtrim or what, as i also suffer from lower abdominal pains? i did a consultation and did some scans and they told me there is nothing wrong. Started taking bactrim for a bladder infection and after the 3rd tablet i felt a little burning in the area around the vagina. I had sex and realized my area was very tender, burning and bleeding, that never happened before. I have a feeling of dehydration, fatigue and it was just weird. I continued taking the bactrim for 4 days and my vaginal soreness became an unbearable burning sensation when i pass my urine and itcy. I read up on the drug at this point and realize it has been the cause of my problems. I will be calling my doctor today as i am not taking anymore and i need medication to heal the vaginal blisters. I also remember a few years ago my mom took this same medication and was sore all over her body. She even refuses to see the same doctor ever again.
