I'm nearly 5 years in from my breast cancer diagnosis... I was 34 I'm now 39 and at the end of October it will be 5 years clear! My issue is I've had no side effects apart from slight weight gain and bad skin or skin changes, I've ended up with hyper pigmentation which I'd never had before not even during pregnancies but my worst side effect by far has only been affecting me for the last year and a half but it's pretty much constant uncomfortable feeling down below like when you have thrush, it's itchy and annoying but also lots of discharge much more than normal... For the past year I have been suffering from intense vaginal itching. I have tried monistat and other medications, but nothing is helping. I got this cream in mexico. Its Gentamycin, Clotrimazole, Betamethasone. I was wondering if I could use it to clear up my yeast infection. Hello! I was prescribed Nitrofurantoin for a UTI and I’m on my third day of taking it. My UTI symptoms seem to be gone however I’ve developed some pretty instense vaginal itching. Is the itching related to the antibiotic or did I get super lucky and develop a yeast infection or something? No discharge or rash just itching. If the itching IS a side effect of the antibiotic should I call my doctor to discontinue it or is it not a huge deal as long as I can handle it? If so, you may have a vaginal yeast infection and you will need an antifungal medication to treat it. Have you consulted your doctor? I had too much of abnormal whitish discharge an my vagina was itching, I decided 2 go to d Doctor an he gave me green pills which he said they were for infection n it disappeared for a while an I'm having that kind of problem again, I just want to know the kind of infection an the treatment that doesn't involve going to the Doctor....thank you in advance ## I'm not a doctor, so I can give you a diagnosis and treatment. Hello I was prescribed augmentin for an ear infection and im almost done with them but recently within the last few days ive noticed my vaginal area is super itchy.
