Urinary Blockage
6 Topics FoundMy cat had urinary tract blockage. Unblocked, was fine, but the vet prescribed 5mg of Phenoxybenzamine 2X a day. Cat got weak, rear legs collapse, won't eat etc. Stopped giving it to him 3 days ago. Drinks water, & I force feed somewhat. No bowel movement. Will this get out of his system. Any info. appreciated. Thanks ## It really sounds like you should take him back to the vet, that sounds more like Kidney failure than anything from the med. If you stopped giving it to him 3 days ago, that is already out of his system, but if you are having to forcefeed him, then something is wrong, go back to the vet NOW!

Have also undergone angioplasty having 80% blockage. My medication for diabetes was Gemer P2. However the doctor has changed it and now I am on Gemer2 + Poiz 15, Glucobay M15, and Glucobay 15. For blood pressure I take Amlopin M and Tazloc 40. I have noticed that I am putting on weight despite reduced food intake avoiding any carbs. I INTEND to stop taking Pioz 15. My sugar test if I randomly take it is FBS 125-130 and PP 145-150. Is it okay if I stop taking Pioz ...
clidinium bromide a. mechanism of action b. side effect c. contraindications d. drug-drug interaction ## Clidinium Bromide is an anticholinergic, it's most commonly combined with Chlordiazepoxide to treat conditions such as IBS. Side effects may include headache, dizziness, difficulty urinating and nasal congestion. It is generally contraindicated in those that have kidney disease, glaucoma, a blockage of the urinary tract and a few other conditions. I am unable to check all the possible interactions for you, because there are far too many to list here. However, if there are specific medications you wish to check, I will gladly do so, if you post back with the names of them. Learn more Clidinium details here.
