Before I started taking Humira I read so many messages about issues with the drug. I suspect the people who are unhappy are far more likely to post comments than those who are happy. I'm going to reverse that trend. 66 y/o diagnosed with UC in September 2013. Initial therapy with Lialda was very effective. A year later following a flare I was prescribed Uceris to get back into remission. It too was effective. Yet another year later and another flare neither of these drugs did the job. Tried Rowasa to no avail and started a Prednisone taper. My doctor suggested Humira and I resisted strongly having read all of the negative blogs.
