Blood pressure 159 over 105. I got really dizzy last tuesday. Due to death in family my blood pressure shot sky high around what it is now. Should I take these medicines? I also have asthma. I use inhalors to help me breathe easier. I've never had high blood pressure before last tuesday. ## What has your doctor advised? My dosage on Tramadol is 50mg. Can I take Hydroxyzine 25mg safely with this other medication? ## You should not take them together, unless your doctor has told you to do so. Taking them both together could cause depression of the central nervous system, according to the FDA. It could depress it to the point of being fatal. Are these the only medications you take?

How can I maximize the effectiveness of this medication? It does not always work as prescribed but my doctor does not want to change my medication at this time. ## I find that taking a 50mg Tab with a 500 mg Tylenol on an empty stomach works best. Drink lots of water! Eat about two hours after. Works well with a 4mg Tizanidine (muscle relaxer too). Sometimes I split the tab to 25mg w/2 Tylenol as a trade off. It's actually listed as a 25mg Promethazine hydrochloride tablet, prescribed for allergy/cold symptoms as well as other uses. Hi. I have been taking Enanplus (75mg tramadol + 25mg dexketoprofen combo) for many weeks, for pain from a cam hip. Although I have tried to stop them, I get a few unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. I believe i should gradually decrease the dosage, but they only come in a standard dose. Am I correct in thinking, that if I split the tabs (e.g. go from 1 tab to 3/4, then 1/2 etc) I should be able to wean myself off of them? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I do not have any blood pressure problems. ## If it was the same doctor who prescribed all of your Rx medication, then I think it's safe to assume that you'd be fine. I'm on several medications like LYRICA 150 mg 3x daily. ZANAFLEX 4mg 2tabs at night.
