I HAVE BEEN PRESCRIBED SINCE IWAS DETECTED3.5YR AGO AN EASCHIMIC HEART PROBLEM OF 30% BLOCK IN ARTERY.HOW LONG SHOULD I CONTINUE? I AM ALSO TAKING CLOPITAB-75 & prolomet-xl:25 in the morning. ## Tonact contains atorvastatin, used to help lower cholesterol. Dear Sir/Madam, After putting stunt in my heart, I have been given 3 tabs daily. One of them is TONACT20. May I know, What is the right time of taking Tonact 20 daily? Thanks & regards. ## Tonact contains the active ingredient Atorvastatin and is used to help lower cholesterol. Side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and joint/muscle aches. Hello Doctor!! My mother is 64 years old and obese.We suspected her to be having hernia in the stomach and consulted a Dr and it was ruled out that she does not have hernia but her tummy is sagging and was adviced for Abdominoplasty.We got all the tests done and after the tests the Dr suggested her to take Tonact 20 mg.She is having cholesterol on the border and she is active and all her tests results are good.Please suggest if she can continue to take this medicine as she is already suffering with Diabetes and BP, and is taking Minipress, Losar H etc. Need your expert advice

my dr prescribed me tonact asp 75mg. i have been taking it regularly for 2 months. now i am feeling giddiness. ## I have been taking tonact-asp 75 mg for the last 6 months. Now I have a burning and painful sensation in my chest, as if i have coughed too much.

I am not a heart patient my doc says prevention is better than cure so fr safer side I am suggested to take one tab daily Tonact 10 mg at bedtime.. I am advised by the doctor to take Tonact 10 for high Cholesterol. Now I have been taking it almost for a year. I sometimes feel weak and loose control of nerves. Is this kind of side effect? Should I discontinue? hi i had a fairly highh cholestrol few years back (600+ triglycerides) - well i was suggested medication then and i thought of getting it down by diet and workout. well succeded to get it down to 300 in a matter of 45 days. but then for the last one year i had been at 250+, and the trigly will not come down, i went back to my doctor and he gave me tonact and nicovas, asked me to eat this as long as i planned to take breakfast and dinner :).. now my question is what are the sideeffects. both long term and shortterm. and how can i mend my eating habits. i have a really good appetite. tx

Are there any long term side effects from taking tonact tg tab continuously? ## I have high BP.
