Thyronorm On Empty Stomach

Hi, due to some reason I delayed the pregnancy check up and when done during 9th week I was diagnosed with hypothyroid problem with TSH level 8.9. And started taking thyroform tablet of 50mcg daily as per doctor's advise.. My question is because of delayed treatment will it affect the fetal development, or will it be normal?

I wanted to ask why thyronorm is taken on empty stomach only... I m on this medication since 1 month and as m pregnant i feel so hungry aftr waking up from bed so i wanted to ask is it compulsory to take medicine only on empty stomach...? ## Hello, Prajkta! Hi, I am 8 weeks pregnant. My TSH thyroid level has come 308.2 in blood test during 6th week which is very high as compared to normal levels. I was not having any symptoms before conceiving so never consulted doctor. we got to know about TSH level only during blood test when I got pregnant..and it came 308.2, then we retested it again on empty stomach but it came 332..Doctor was wondering how i conceived at such high level of TSH. My T3 and T4 levels are normal but my TSH is 8.55. I am worried because my weight starting increasing even beyond my daily workouts in GYM. I AM TAKING PROLOMET XL 100 FOR MORE THAN A YEAR UNDER DOCTOR'S ADVICE. STILL I FEEL CHEST PAIN. I am taking 1 tab on an empty stomach - I was 4 months pregnant when the thyroid was detected, the doctor told me to continue since in some people thyroid is detected during pregnancy.
