Tapentadol Withdrawal

I am coming off of 4 years of suboxone and have not been sucessful in stopping...so im hearing it is easier to withdraw from pain pills...experienced that myself years back..i would like to know the comparable dose of 2mg suboxone to a 100mg Tapentadol...thanks ## Hi Michele, Just to clarify, are you hoping to use the Tapentadol to help with withdrawal from Suboxone? Or are you wanting to switch medications? Either way, this could have negative effects since using Suboxone (buprenorphine) together with tapentadol may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. I was having issue finding my Dilaudid Rx. I ran out and the pain was unbearable. (I used my Rx for Tramadol 50mg x 4-6 daily to alleviate any withdrawals. It doesn't do much for the pain.) My doc switched me to a new time released med Nucynta ER or Tapentadol. It works great. It comes in 50mg - 250mg. Equivalent for my Dilaudid 4mg x 4 was Nucynta ER 150 mg, 1 q 12 hr. but we had to work up to that dosage through titration. It says not to cut the pill and I have not tried. If you have true pain and a legal doc, try this. It is readily available at CVS, usually the 24 hour stores. I don't wake up in knots and crying in pain. I'm on 130mil of methadone a day but got a couple 75mil tapenadols from a friend bc in 2 weeks had 6 teeth pulled and dentist only gave me 5mil hydros. So I just wanted to kno if I took them together I wouldn't go into withdraw. Has Nucynta been discontinued? ## I'm sorry, what thing are you looking for? I am not finding any information, at this time, that Nucynta, which contains the active ingredient Tapentadol, that is used to treat pain, has been discontinued. However, if it was a very recent action, it may not be added to the FDA databases, yet. Do you have a source for this information? ## Walgreens has stated Nucynta has been discontinued as of 9/14/2017. Have been on panadeine forte around 4 x30mg a day for 6 years last three days have been on 2x50mg tapentadol sr tabs . I feel like crap could it be withdrawal symptoms; ## OXA forte 50/50 mg vs oxycotin 15 mg which one is stronger
