We need to know what pharmacies have adequate supplies of oxycodone between Tampa and Punta Gorda that would fill Dr. Turner's perscriptions written in Sarasota. ## I'm not sure you are going to find one, at this time. There seems to be a problem getting any Oxycodone prescription filled all over Florida, there have been many posts about it. Have you tried asking your doctor about using an alternative medication?

I too, like many of the posters on this forum, have a legitimate script for 30mg Oxy's. Because of "whatever" the real reason (Ex. DEA, Quota's. FL Shortage) I cannot get this script filled. I've been lucky the last 2 months because my doc switched me to 15's, which seem to be a little more accessible for some reason. However, this isn't an option today due to my doc being on vacation... I am now trying to get oxy from Optumrx, a mail order pharmacy. I did receive my meds last month a week late. Now they have changed the rules to a 80% ER and a 20% IR. I understand that they will eventually taper me off to no pills at all! That's not acceptable as I live with chronic pain. I am looking into changing my meds to a more available med.
