My brother had a stroke in the left side of his brain and is paralyzed on the right side of his leg and hand, and has no voice. After being discharged from the hospital, his doctor has advised strocit 500mg trice in a day. Please tell me if it's the correct dosage? My brother's age is 37. Along with this medicine he also prescribed ecospirin and atorva 40mg. How long should my brother use this medicine? ## He should take them as long as his doctor instructs him to do so and in the dosages his doctor instructs, otherwise, he could be at risk of experiencing another stroke. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and joint/muscle aches. How is he doing? Has there been any change?
