I was given this prep to use for a colonoscopy (Prepopik). I always tell my doctors that I am allergic to sulfa and penicillin and I know they do not have the time to research all meds at the office visit. Several years ago, I was given Hydrodiuril which had hydrochlorothiazide in it. It was a dedicated nurse that found out why I had such a reaction to Hydrodiuril. I ended up in ICU for 3 days.
