I'm not seeing anything like that listed in the side effects. Have you tried speaking to your doctor or pharmacist? The most common ones listed are rash and hypersensitivity syndrome. ## So this pill is for gout??

Sounds like furosemide ... A diuretic ## Hi Roxx, The closest match I've been able to locate is Allopurinol (100 mg). It is a white round pill with imprint N020. It is manufactured by Northstar Rx and has a National Drug Code of 16714-0041. Allopurinol (Zyloprim, and generics) is a drug used primarily to treat hyperuricemia (excess uric acid in blood plasma) and its complications, including chronic gout. It is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor which is administered orally. Possible side effects - Because allopurinol is not a uricosuric, it can be used in patients with poor kidney function. However, allopurinol has two important disadvantages. First, its dosing is complex. Second, some patients are hypersensitive to the drug, therefore its use requires careful monitoring. Found this pill in my nephews pocket but cant find it any where online. It. Is a white capsule with "N020" on it and nothing else and it it is not the anti-diarrhea pill ## Allopurinol made by NorthStar Rx bears the same color & imprint "N020", except that their pill is round and not a capsule. However, drug manufacturers have been known to make alterations to their products without any prior notice to the public/patients. For this reason alone, I think it would still be a good idea to contact NorthStar Rx directly, just to ensure that you've covered all angles. Trying to identify a white capsule with N020 written sideways on one end. Is this Vitamin D3 50000 UNITS? ## Hi Mary, I located a white capsule marked with "2 N 020" that's identified as Loperamide (2mg), used for treating diarrhea. This particular pill is made by Teva Pharma. Although I haven't seen an image of either pill yet, I did think that this capsule's description might be a possible suspect. There's also a round white Allopurinol (100mg) pill with a marking of N020 on one side and scored on the other [A product of Northstar Rx LLC.] - I'd be curious to know whether this drug company (Northstar) has or had any other forms of this N020 pill made in past inventories (as a possible explanation to it appearing different)?
