Used to taking Oxycodone HCL 30mg V on one side, 78|12 on the other, small round light blue tablet; would like to know difference, can it be used to substitute my Rx, any side effects, types of withdrawl symptoms, etc.....?! ## Hello, Sandy! How are you? I'm not sure I am properly understanding your post. What are the markings on the tablet in question? Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

MORPHINE AND OXY IS A VERY ADDICTIVE DRUG IF YOUR AN ADDICT PLES CONTACT YOUR NEAREST METHADONE CLINIC!! ## Yes, a pill with an M in a box, of a purplish / burgundy color, depending on your interpretation of colors, and a 30 on the other side is Morphine Sulfate 30mgs, manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. This is a time release tablet, a generic for MS Contin which is taken every 12 hours. And Britt is correct, the colors DO NOT MEAN ANYTHING without the markings. To identify a pill correctly you have to look at the imprints ...
