Has anyones child stopped growing on AdderallXR. My son was always tall for his age and because of the decrease in appetite he seems to be slowing in growth. Our md just checks his weight not his height ## Yes, my son has only grown 1/8 of an inch in the last six months on Adderall XR. We have been referred to a pediatric endocrinologist. He is almost 8 yrs. and has been on Adderall XR for 2 1/2yrs. ## My son stopped growing as well. He has been off for 3 months and grown and inch. Our pediatrician says it will take approx. 6 months to start growing again. We are now on intuniv. ## There are many other anecdotal reports that state this has occurred, and the child usually had to switch to a different medication. Hello. My son is on 50mg Losartan for prevention of aortic root growth due to Marfan syndrome. After about six months of taking it, he started to experience episodes of feeling “funny.” This included brief nausea/drop in the pit of his stomach, dizziness, and a feeling like he didn’t want to move his arms and legs. In the recent past, this has progressed into what appear to be petit mal or absence seizures—brief periods of staring blankly and not responding. He still reports that sudden drop in the pit of his stomach preceding an episode and then a feeling of not wanting to move arms and legs. Six months ago I had the staph infection MERSA. Three lesions were surgically treated and I was on bactrim for three weeks.The results were successful. One week ago I indicated to my internist,who was completely aware of the prior condition and treatment, that I had a supect growth on my rear. My wife (32 yrs) missed her period for 7 days and she is pregnant (confirmed by HPT). We married for 1 yr. After marriage we tried to get pregnant and after two months she become pregnant. But it was a misscarriage, and only 4-5 weeks growth, also no hearbeat. How ever doctors said that she do not have any infertility problems. Then doctor asked us to wait for another 6 months and try to conveive. Again after two months of trying she is now pregnant, and missed her period for six days. I just took my 6th round of cyramza. I want to know if anyone else feels as bad as I do. ## I am very sorry that you're feeling awful! However yes, that frequently happens with these medications, while they can be life saving, they do a number on your body and take a toll temporarily. You may also be at increased risk of bleeding. How are you feeling, now? Any better? ## Not to much better. I received the results of my cscan back after the six rounds and the cancer has spreaded even more. New tumors appeared. I don't know what the doctor may say when I go Thursday because she advised me when I started Cyramza that if there is any growth I would have exhausted all the chemo and clinical trials available. I am very afraid of what she may tell me.
