This medication is listed as containing the active ingredient Amiodarone and I'm not seeing anything in the FDA reports that it has been known to cause that. I have a small prolapse of the valve in the left chamber of my heart and it is very uncomfortable with an extra sistole. I am on Hexarone 100mg in the morning and 50mg evening. My blood pressure stays at 147/80 and sometimes even higher. After the 9th tablet the docter tried I am now on Irbewin 150 one morning, one evening. Still the upper reading doesn't come down.
