Since taking Hexarone my husband has complained of sore itchy breasts. He also feels his vetiligo has worsened. In the last 6 months i've torn muscles in my arm and knee. could it be from the use of hexarone? ## Hello, Wayne! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you've experienced. This medication is listed as containing the active ingredient Amiodarone and I'm not seeing anything in the FDA reports that it has been known to cause that. However, it can cause some muscle weakness, spasms and cramping, so there's a chance that it did contribute to the problem, but it's hard to know for sure. Are you on any other medications?

The doctor prescribed Hexarone for me but the opthalmologist eventually found a residue deposit as a result of the meds on my corneas. The specialist changed the meds to Bisohexal, later on the new Med Aid scheme changed it to Adco-Bisocor. The film on my corneas are getting worse. I don't know whether it is the active ingredient BISOPROLOL - but I need help urgently, my sight is getting 'hazier'. I am 63 years old and had an eye stroke 2 years ago. I have a small prolapse of the valve in the left chamber of my heart and it is very uncomfortable with an extra sistole. I am on Hexarone 100mg in the morning and 50mg evening. My blood pressure stays at 147/80 and sometimes even higher. After the 9th tablet the docter tried I am now on Irbewin 150 one morning, one evening. Still the upper reading doesn't come down.
