I am 45 years old; Male; Normally I am quite active and brisk so far. But 10 days ago I suffered mild chest pain. Angiography was done. Cardiologist diagnosed formation of fatty substances (about 40 to 45%) in the blood veins. I have been advocated Ecosprin 150, Clopitab 75, Atorva 40 - all one tablet before bed, Cardoran 100 - 3 a day and Seloken XL 25 - one at morning. i had angioplasty on 25.04.11, at age of 43 yrs blood clots in main LEFT areteries, one stent inserted in left artery.acute lsv function30-35% medications at start for1 1/2 month ciploraox, ecospirin150, prasgurel10mg,trika, nialip500,betaloc25mg,atrova,flavedron now all medications are on one changed betaloc25mg to selokenxl25mg observations bp fluctuates 100/70; 90/60 pulse 99-100 cannot lift weight, sometimes suffocations, reoccuring cough, lethargy,movements restricted,can't run & do brisk walk even after 2 months, heart lsv function still 35%-40%, weight loss 10kgs please comment & advise
Filed under Allergies, Cough & ColdI had angioplasty in 2011 (I never had a heart attack and I wanted to check my heart condition as my father died of Heart attack) as I underwent TMT there was some problem Doctor told me to take angiogram and he told me there is blocks and it is better to do Angioplasty as at anytime I can have a heart attack. There was blocks 100% in one and 75% in another and 45% in the third. He put stents in the first two and left other as it can be cured through medication. Now I am taking Atocor-20mg,Clopilet 75mg, Repace 25mg and Seloken XL 25mg and Ecosprin 150mg. I would like to know the purpose of taking these medicine and whether I can quit this medicine and can take diet control and exerise only.
