Xanax is a life saver! I've always had social anxiety and trouble speaking in groups of people, now i have no problem! Xanax makes me feel very calm and I'm able to enjoy the moments that used to make me feel unconformable.............I't also helps with depression, withdrawals from pain killers, helps with sleep! The best sleep you can ever have (close to taking NyQuil). I take 1 mg 3 times daily..... ## Xanax IS a life saver, and can also drop you dead right where you stand. Funny little drug ## Hello, Pacsun93! I'm very glad that it's helping you so much. However, it can also be dangerous, just like Eddy has pointed out, though it's usually not that extreme. But it can be habit forming and once you've been taking it for awhile, it isn't safe to stop ab...

Are these time released because they seem to be weaker than the blue ones I usually get ## Hello, Polly! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Dava Pharmaceuticals and they list as containing 1mg of Alprazolam in a regular release formulation. However, there can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient from one generic to another, so this one may be slightly weaker. Though, since the differences are slight, your body will usually adjust in a week or so. The FDA classifies this medication as being a benzodiazepine that carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

Unexplained bruised skin since the green football shaped ## That is a very rare side effect and you might want to bring this up with your MD ## @Jocelyn, I think Eddy could be right about this being rare, as I'm not seeing 'bruises' specifically listed on general drug monographs. Information I'm finding on pubmedhealth shows that "blistering, crusting, irritation, itching, peeling, or reddening of the skin" is related to an allergic reaction. However, in this case it sounds like something else altogether. A couple of the other symptoms I noticed on their side effect list are "hives or welts" and "yellow skin". Do your bruises have a yellow tinge to them? At any rate, I agree that you should probably bring this up with your doctor if it has become ...

This pill is nasty. It is described as SR by the manufacturer (slow or sustained release). I have been taking Millen 4 x 20 per day with no problems. Was this pill dispensed as a mistake by the pharmacy or by the doctor. I took less than two and didn't get a wink of sleep. Markings are Sandoz peach, scored, 790, SZ or ZS. The bottle says SR. It has taken me so long to get to get to the combination of pills I am at that if I rock the boat, I am scared that the whole research of a group of safe pills will be in jeopardy. I can cut back on the Sandoz without a problem, no odd effects as described on the net, ## Just discovered that I have been wasting years -- and tasks undone -- by taking generic Ritalin manufactured by Sandoz (not time release). Hasn't done anything for me and my...

What is a yellow, round shaped tablet with SZ imprinted on one side and 790 on the other? ## The pill which you are describing has been identified as Methylphenidate 20 mg, a generic form of Ritalin. Related Thread: view_drug_submission.asp?Drug=sz+790&Page=146846 Do you have any other questions or information to add? Please post back if you do... ## Been taking this generic brand of Ritalin for several years and wondering why it stopped having any or little effect on my ADD and also why it left my system so quickly (almost immediately). Thought it was a built-up tolerance. Recently discovered (by paying more than double price for the brand-name Ritalin) that this generic drug is far different from the brand-name one. The difference is acute and worth investigation.

taking symbalta 90mg.q.d. allose using voltaren imogelel b.i.d.Could there be side effect.thank you. ## My findings state that there are in fact unsafe interactions between Cymbalta (duloxetine) and Voltaren (diclofenac). Quoted below are the precautions you should be aware of: "MONITOR: Serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SRIs) may potentiate the risk of bleeding in patients treated with ulcerogenic agents and agents that affect hemostasis such as anticoagulants, platelet inhibitors, thrombin inhibitors, thrombolytic agents, or agents that commonly cause thrombocytopenia. The tricyclic antidepressant, clomipramine, is also a strong SRI and may interact similarly. Serotonin release by platelets plays an important role in hemostasis, thus SRIs may alter platelet function and induce bleedi...

I have used Santyl many times before for wound care. I have an unopened tube of Santyl 90 grams. It has been stored in my medicine cabinet since last year. Santyl is very expensive. I paid $450 for this at my pharmacy last year and that was a discounted price. It is normally $625. It has an expiration date for 11/2017. Can I still use this? I have also been told that many drugs can be used after they expire. ## Most typically don't become dangerous, once they are expired, but the problem with creams and ointments is that they tend to degrade faster than solid forms of medications, according to NIH reports. So, it may not work as well as it did when it was new but should not be "bad". The most common side effect that the FDA lists for it is reddening of the skin. Did you buy ...

ORANGE ROUND ABOUT THE SIZE OF AN ADULT ASPRIN HAS S 90 OR 06 S ON ONE SIDE SLIGHTLY COATED ## This is another one that I cannot locate and it has never been posted here, before, from what I can find. There have been quite a few ones that are not listed in our resources that have popped up, recently. I found this pill in my daughters room and am worried about her. Can you tell me what is and what it is used for? ## Believe round white pill A | B 90 was misread due to a poor imprint. A | B CG is probable: when CG is inverted it looks like 90 if the imprint is soft or the pill has degraded. I have made this same mistake. Round, white pill A | B CG is probably Ritalin 10 mg, non-US manufacture.
