This tablet is manufactured by Ingenus Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Metformin. The FDA classifies this as an oral antidiabetic agent and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and hypoglycemia. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Could it be metformin maybe generic? Round whit tablet with a G and a 10 under G. Blank on opposite side? ## What is the difference between Metformin 1P178 (long white) and the G10 (round white) pills? Is the G10 generic? My husband started bleeding when he was switched to the G10 by the pharmacy.
