I've been taking METOPROLOL TARTRATE 50MG tablets, white, round, with # 477 from Walgreens. Recently switched to Walmart and transferred prescription. The Walmart pill is pink, round with # C74. Are these tablets the same strength and used to treat high blood pressure? ## Hello, Fred! How are you? It can be addictive and side effects included marked drowsiness, dizziness, headache, euphoria. ## Is one strength of Valium a pinkish color?? ## To the original poster, was the marking possibly Mylan 477? If so, Mylan Pharmaceuticals lists the tablet as containing 10mgs of Diazepam, which is a generic for Valium. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. Marian, the color can vary from one manufacturer to another. Can you please post back with the markings on the tablet in question? If so, I will be happy to research it for you.

My health care provided changed drug companies. Are these two meds the same? ## Based on those 2 descriptions, they should be the same.
