Found pills in son's room. He said they were 2 mg alprazolam. Round white and scored on one side. ## From what I could gather, a white round pill marked with "A2C" on one side and a split score line on the other, is identified as 2mg generic Alprazolam from Cinfa (a Spanish pharmaceutical company). NOTE: each quarter section within the score line is considered to be 0.5mg I question whether or not it may be counterfeit though, since the "real" versions I've seen appear to be rectangle-shaped and have a different imprint. That said, however, the only one I am finding right now that is white, with an M on it, has the complete marking of M and A21 on the opposite side, it is also round, not square. Can you provide more information on the tablet? Is there more to the imprint than just an M?
