Can gelmicin be used to control rosacea? ## What has your doctor advised? Gelmicin is listed as containing the active ingredient Lotrisone, which is a combination of Clotrimazole and Betamethasone, both of which should only be used under a doctor's supervision, due to their risks of side effects.

I've been treated for rosacea but the cream that my dermatologist gave me did nothing. Can this work for me? I have redness, flaking, irritation around my cheeks, eyebrows, and by my ears. ## Will this work on red spots on my cheeks? I am using metronidazole gel and it doesn't work. ## From what I could gather, Gelmicin Cream is indicated for treating a variety of skin problems, including: skin allergies; skin infections; eczema; & psoriasis. I bought this for my wife's rosacea. She was on two prescriptions and they were not working - made her face even more red. I read the reviews of Dermalmd, ran it by her and purchased. Needless to say, she loves it. Her face is no longer red and looks great. She's been very happy with it. Highly recommend! ## Dermalmd serum works for rosacea. If anyone has sleepless nights because of rosacea and related issues, Dermalmd serum is a worth trying. It worked for me!

I am comfortable with my own regimen. I have started dieting (I tend to avoid whole grains in my diet). I eat more eggs and then full 8 liters of water a day. I have yet to try jojoba oil but I guess there is no need as my cream (SR Lotion) already contains a blend of jojoba oil and lactic acid. For two months now I have used SR Lotion to manage the red patches and the dryness. So far it works very well in controlling the flare ups. I understand SR Lotion is an excellent treatment, but not a cure, and a lot of times I am wondering what else I can do to support my regimen. I try avoiding wine and everything that has alcohol content. I don't know why it tends to make me rosier. What else is bad when you have rosacea?

I have rosacea have prescription for Metronidazol .75%cream anddoxy-cycl hyc for treating the rosacea. I have rosacea. It was under control with Metrogel. It has flared up badly. I have started taking Brintellix, and I want to know if Brintellix causes rosacea. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you've had. Brintillex has been known to cause facial redness, as listed by the FDA. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, restlessness and dry mouth. If it's caused your rosacea to flare that badly, you might need to try a different medication. Hi I was just prescribed oracea for my rosacea & occular oracea I'm sensitive to all medications I'm scared to take it Does anyone know of side effects of this medication ? I took 3-day 500 mg Azithromycin for Acne rosacea. The total dose should be 3 day 500 mg and then skip 5 days and then take 3-day 500 mg until 4 weeks of period. but I have skin rash and itching. My doctor prescribed doxycyclin 150 mg per day. I thought Azithromycin was safer than Doxy and less sunsensitive. Should I continue Azithro or start taking Doxy and quit Azithro after three days. ## You should follow your doctor's instructions, if you are itching from the Azithromycin, that could be due to an allergic reaction and they tend to get worse, with repeated expose to the offending medication.
