My father is 73 years old. He suffering from Vission Problem. We took him to the local Doctors. Doctor told that the diseas concern with Retina. Doctor did OCT test and he told that a fluid type substance has been accumulated inside the Retina wall. Sometime this fluid gets dried and sometime it come back. Due to occuring rapidly the cells are gradually ruined. He can't see well, always sees hazy everything and sometime sees violet colours. This days he can't read book even the Headlines the newspaper. I live in Brisbane Australia and am beside myself as I have been told by 'Johnson Pacific' that my precious 'Retin A' cream 0.5% manufactured by Janssen-Cilag has been globally discontinued. 'Retrieve' does not compare for me- it is made with a different base product, I have tried it and it does not work for me the way Retin A cream does. I have been using Retin A cream for over 20 years, originally for pimples, which is great- but the way it keeps my skin looking so clear, fresh and unmarked is amazing (I stay out of the sun)-i depend on this cream so much; does anyone know what the equivalent could be here in Australia or Over-Seas. A dermatologist prescribed Retin A for my skin for exfolient and regrowth of new skin. It has worked wonders and my skin looks alive again. This was yrs ago and I now buy Epitrol from Mexico. Does very well and I will continue to use it since people tell me I do not look my 74 years. It never caused rash or peeling as I used it per instructions. Also I use a cream on top. ## Hello, Nonna! How are you? I am so glad that it has worked so well for you. However, due to the risks, I can't encourage anyone to obtain it elsewhere and use it without their doctor's approval. It can cause the peeling and skin burning as side effects, according to the FDA, which could result in scarring and worsening of some skin conditions. What type of cream do you use with it?

Adco-Retic contains Amiloride and Hydrochlorothiazide, it is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and dehydration. Growing up my family didnt have the resources for dermatologists, and expensive late night infomercial acne solutions and at 14 years old my acne was horrible. Luckily we lived 20 miles from the Mexico border (Baja California) and after my mother visiting her favorite pharmacy a nice lady working the counter introduced me to several generic Retin-A creams that were only $5 for a 40g tube; one of them being EPITREL 0.05 g.
