Hi, it was our first night and i took regestrone for two days to delay my periods i.e. On 29th and 30th dec. I was told that i wud have my periods very next day stopping dosage of regestrone . Its been 8 days i have not had periods. Is it normal or i have to visit some doctor.

I have pcos, 26yrs, i m already taking glyciphage 250mg(metformin) for 5months 3 times a day,my periods delayed by 64 days, so a near by physician suggested regestrone 5mg 2 times a day for 5 days, i m overweight, after many diet n excercise my weight doesn't reduce, will that cure my pcos and reduce my weight... how many cycles shud i take this medicine to completely get rid of pcos... will that have any side effects... also my doc said to have ETOSYS to stop periods if i have excess bleeding... will that have any side effect

However my periods were timely for last 2 years and recently they are not timely and can be a delayed by more than a month sometimes.
