small red round pill ## A generic version of Sudafed, manufactured by Perrigo. Basic nasal decongestant - does not help flu or cold symptoms, or do anything for allergies. This pill is meant to get rid of nasal congestion and nothing more. ## To be exact, this is Pseudophedrine 30mgs. An over the counter medication. ## Under indicated use, experienced noticeable increase in heart-rate, light-headedness, anxiety, and quick shallow breathing. Did clear sinuses though

Aside from the numbers, what is the difference between Sudafed L432 and Sudafed 44 112? My pharmacist gave me a packet that describes the pills inside as being a "RED, ROUND-shaped TABLET imprinted with L432 on the front." BUT the pills I got had 44 over 112 instead of L432. Is it the same thing or did they give me the wrong pills? ## @Ade, Both pills in question are identified as Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30 mg (the generic of Sudafed). However, because each tablet is manufactured by a different company, not only is there going to be a slight variation of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), but also since the medication is in generic form, it is permitted by the FDA to be allowed to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient as well. The pill my friend has is a small pill, about 2 mg. It is coated with a red paste and says the inscriptions of I think to be L432 but I am not sure exactly.
