i always thought the 512 percocets were real percocets not generic but found out they were generic. what do real percocets look like and is there any difference between the real percocets and the generics? ## Dr. prescribed Percocet, Pharm gave me generic Oxycod/apap 5-325. They do not work, I think drug store might have gave me wrong pills. They are large, round, one side says 512 the other side is scored. Have I got the right med? ## i have a pill that is thought to be a percocet. I would like to verify this before taking. The pill is small, the same size as a 10mg valium. It is yellow with 445 on one side, on the other it is scored and says eth. Please let me know what kind of pill this is. Thank-you. ## ETH445 is not Percocet, it does not contain Acetaminophen, this pill only contain...

A friend of mine had some of these and they made her sick. I had to have her stomach pumped. We saw on this website where these were fake pills. Is there any truth to this? ## Hi Melissa, A white oblong shaped pill with M523 on one side and 10/325 on the back is reportedly identified as a generic Acetaminophen + Oxycodone HCL tablet, made by Mallinckrodt. For verification, you can visit the following National Drug Code link: 0406-0523 Having said this, her pill does fit the description of a real product... However if she isn't going through her doctor to obtain a prescription then they could be anything pressed and shaped to look like something real. I'm not insinuating that this is the case here, but she shouldn't have to question their legitimacy if she filled a prescripti...

I've read where people say it's IMPOSSIBLE to fake the yellow 10/325 percocet and whoever believes that is sadly mistaken. The biggest sign is that sometimes the yellow is a little worn or the pill had white spots on it. The second is that the instant the water hits your mouth they almost instantly dissolve and you can hardly swallow the chalk in your mouth. The third and most important sign is this: if you hold a prescription pain killer up to the light it had a sort of gloss/sheen to it. The fakes do not have this. The only exception would be if the pills were REALLY old they may have lost their sheen. But for me, that is the biggest thing. Fakes are rare, but don't be so naive. INVESTIGATE. People are crazy. ## While it may be good to know the difference between fake tabl...

i have a prescription for percocet 10/325 does anyone know who carries these in philadelphia, pa? ## Hello, Chop! How are you? You're just going to have to try various pharmacies in your area. There is no listing of which pharmacy has any given medication in stock and, since this is a narcotic, calling them won't get you a real answer, since they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is potential thief or legitimate customer. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I accidently took five Percocet in a 3 hour period today from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. I took two around 12:00 pm and two around 7:00 am. Possibly a total of nine today. I have been on this medicine for 1 year. I usually take two, 3 times a day for a total of 6 per day. Will I be okay? ## I do not want to overdose. This was sincerely an accident. It's been an hour. What would overdose symptoms be. Could 50 mg over 2 1/2 to 3 hours possibly be fatal? Should I go to the hospital? I have tried (with no success) self induced vomiting to no avail. Now I am drinking quarts of water. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you ## Hello, Sam! How are you doing? Did you suffer any adverse effects? How did you end up taking so many? I really can't stress it enough on here, if you're afraid ...

They are not percocet. I looked them up through a walgreens pharmacy and they are tylenol ## Hello, Ashley! How are you? No, they aren't fake, they are exactly what they were intended to be, 325mg Acetaminophen tablets. Whoever said they were Percocet either lied or didn't really know what they were. (NDC 0363-0104 among others) Inactive Ingredients: - Starch, Corn - Povidone - Stearic Acid - Sodium Starch Glycolate Type A Potato One store even sells them under the store brand name of Genepap, another as Genebs, and etc. Ref: DailyMed ## what is a white round pill 44 over 104 with the break between it please some say tylenol and some say Percocet. Is this a real Percocet or a fake one? I've never saw a yellow one say 10/325 on one side and M532 on other side. It is oblong. ## @Byrd, I think the bottom line is if you didn't get your prescription filled through a licensed pharmacy then it could literally be anything. Pill press machines are making it possible for just about anyone to make copies using whatever ingredients they please. So the only reliable way to ensure legitimacy is by following the system. You can also contact the manufacturer (Mallinckrodt) directly at 800-778-7898 and ask them if they recently started producing a yellow oblong version of the tablet. Just a side note: My findings indicate that M 532 Percocet (5/500mg) is a red and white capsule with "M 532" in black ink on each side of it. Also, i...

If I find out that the supposed oxycodone I am taking is anything other than what it should be, I will be contacting a money hungry attorney for I shall be extremely wealthy. ## I have the same issue with RP 10/325 - I went into withdrawals and took the Med back to Walmart pharmacy and the pharmacist said he's "had no other complaints and couldn't do anything for me". I now have Activas A 333 and they are taking awhile to kick in and I am just praying these awful feelings go away. Please let me know if you found out anything. ## Have either of you considered getting the tablet's contents analyzed by a lab in order to determine how much oxycodone/acetaminophen is really in there v.s. what they put on the label? Part of me wonders if these drug companies might be skimp...

Hello all, First off I'm new to posting here and I must admit this is probably a topic that is quite frequent and I have done days searching but can't seem to really find any info on my specific situation. I apologize in advance for the long post but I will introduce myself and situation. I've been on oxycodone 10/325 for a little over a year now from a botched foot surgery and diabetic neuropathy in this same foot. It helps tremendously and seems to be the only relief I can get is from taking these. Whether its first thing in the morning to be able to stand up and get moving or whether it's to let me settle down and drift off to sleep which is something fairly hard to do. I also was recently diagnosed with PTSD from my job and I am currently out of work for this. It is ...

I recently picked up some 10/325 Percocet and the imprint looks legit but the pills break apart extremely easy. They're either very old or fake. I notice that immediately around the edges looks really rough...almost like they went through the washer or something. Is there an easy way to tell the difference between old pills and fake pills? I can break them with my hand really easily but it seems like you'd be able to do this if they were put in water or something. ## If you got them from a pharmacy they are legimate. Sometimes the appearance and consistency of medications change with different manufacturers. ## Sounds like the ones that just about took my life. If they didn't come from a pharmacy then its definitely not worth the risk of your life! The edges have a bit of a ...

Man I had four different genetic brands. Now taking alvogen 10 325. Percocet 10. man no wonder there so many people killing themselves. everyones genetic med r different. S*** what happen to DuPont they too big to keep customers happy? I had enough. I'm going to ask my doctor to give me morphine. Or back on methadone. Even though they are hard to get off of. That makes five different types of Percocet 10 I had. Watson is the only way. I just do not understand. I guess I have to look overseas. Usa meds suck ## @James, You know big pharma is really making things difficult for pain patients, especially when pharmacies keep switching between different manufacturers to try and save a few bucks out of the hundreds of millions they make in profit every year. I have taken 10/325 MD 523 generic for years. I took IP 204 for a month with noticeable side effects; swollwen feet and less bowel movement, even with daily miralax. My question....DOES IP 204 CAUSE BULDGING FEET THEN MD 523??????????? Thank you for any comments. ## Did you mean the tablet with the M523 10/325 marking? Because there isn't one with an MD on it. The constipation can be a side effect of any narcotic opiate and though it isn't common, Percocet can cause fluid retention in some people, as well. There can be slight fluctuations from one generic to another, so taking a different one may have caused the problem, but you should really have it checked out by your doctor to be safe. I take Percocet all the time every 6 hours. This time i noticed the pill was round instead of oblong and has 230 on one side. This pill is worthless, I feel absolutely nothing. NO PAIN RELIEF AT ALL. This pill is a fake, a sugar pill or something. I paid $91 dollars cash for this, now i'm broke with no medication. There is no medical properties in this pill what so ever. I've been ripped off like some common drug pusher. How do I live now? The first thing I should do is call the FBI, then the FDA and the police too. ## What do I do? who cares?,Whom do I contact next? signed left in pain. I have chronic pancreatitis and have been on percocets for over 2 years. I was started on the 5/325 mg ones. My doc increased them to the 7.5/325 and now I am on the 10/325. I have never had burping as a side effect with any of them until now with the 10/325. It's not really bothersome and I am more curious than anything to know what the heck is in these ones that I taste scrambled eggs, or sulfur when I burp. I am curious to know if anyone else has experienced this? I am going to see if I can locate the manufacturer (it's a generic). That might give me an answer :) ## Hello! How are you? What are the markings on them? That would enable me to locate the name of the manufacturer and check the inactive ingredients for you. There's a chance that there is something sulfur based ...

I'm needing help to find out which company makes this generic 10mg percocet: Yellow Oblong 10/325 on one side M532 on the other The pharmacy gave them to me the first time, but now they have me on white ones that didn't work. So, when I got my next prescription, I told them and asked for they yellow ones. I didn't realize there was another yellow one made by Endocet (E712), it doesn't work either. I can't find company information for the first one I got so I can ask for it next time. Can anyone help? ## Hello, Raine! How are you? I am taking the percocet 512 white tablets 5mg/325 for severe back pain due to degenerating disc(s). I have been told 1 pill every 8 hours, but find the pain so excruciating after about 5 hours that I cannot even stand... even to use the bathroom or shower. My MD cannot get me into a specialist until August, but I am having real stress here. Will it be harmful for me to take more than the one tablet per 8 hours?? ## your comment seems strange to me brcause my MD prescribed me some of same percocet and on the bottle it says take 1 or 2 tablets every 4 or 6 hours according to pain or even as needed for pain. My Dr, has me taking percocet every 4 hours it doens't help that much I have arthritis had 2 hip replacements but still have so much pain. I see my Dr. next week just wanted a second opinion. Thank you kindly. Jeanne ## This tablet contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen and if you're taking them every 4 hours, then you are taking 60mgs of the Oxycodone and 1,950 of the Acetaminophen in a day, which isn't necessarily a dangerous dosage of either one. What you really have to watch for is the effects it has on you and if it seems to be too much for you. Monitor your side effects, which may include: nausea, dizziness, constipation and drowsiness and if they are very severe, then you'll know if this amount is too much for you to take. Are there any other ques...

There are some pills going around that say percocet 10 325 on them but are clearly not. Where do these come from? ## Hello, Wondering one! How are you? As to your question, I have to say that your guess is as good as anyone else's. There are always people out there creating fake pills to try to milk people out of money. There are also foreign sources that aren't reliable for sending what people actually order. Where did you see them? The FDA classifies Percocet as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## We all wish we knew that on here! What is the medication with these markings IP204? ## This tablet contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, this combination could be considered a generic for either one, though many doctors refer to Lorcet as being the product that contains 650mgs of the Acetaminophen. This is a narcotic pain reliever, so it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with? ## My apologies, it's been one of those mornings.
