Is ranitidine still safe to take after the expiration/discard date? Mine is 10/10/12. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? I use Pepcid/Famotidine and to get them on the $4 list, which is a lot cheaper than the over the counter price for the amount I take, I had to wait for my pharmacy to order them in for me. Found pink r150 and orangeish L852 in same bottle of equate ranitidine ## Hello, Tom! How are you? They are both 150mg Ranitidine tablets, just manufactured by different companies. Many companies bottle pills for several different generics and store brands, so it's likely that they ran out and had to use some from the next lot to finish filling that bottle. Tablet is tan, unscored, has a film on it (is not dusty), has R150 on one side. Probably about the size of a #2 pencil eraser or a bit larger. I thought it was Tramadol, Flexeril or something in that class. ## From what I can find, this tablet contains 150mgs of Ranitidine, it is a generic or store brand for Zantac and is available over the counter. Ranitidine 150 mg tablet. I have always received a peach colored tablet w/imprint PAR 544. Concerned about white tablet is for Zantac? I take this w/Metoprolol. ## my husband gets white ones and sometimes peach ones ## Just to confirm, yes, the APO pill is also Ranitidine 150mgs, a generic for Zantac. Tiffanie, I appreciate your response, but if you are going to post to help people on a drug forum, then you need to know that the colors of the tablets really don't mean anything at all, you have to go by the imprint in order to be certain of what something is.
