I am looking for the chemical composition of ramistar 5 of lupin ltd as i am in Tajikistan and have run out of pills and want to look for a substitute ## I am in Tajikistan which is central Asia, a part of the post soviet union. I have travelled here as a volunteer and was carrying my prescription drugs of which ramistar5 is one. as the stipulated period of three months - my placement length were over and my placement got extended i have run out of prescription medication and therefore the search. I have been prescribed Aztor F(10/145) by my cardiologist alongwith other medicines like Deplatt 75 mg(OD); ecosprin 150 mg(OD), corbis 2.5 mg(OD); Ramistar 5 mg OD; glyciphase 500 mg BD, pantocid 40 mg. I have not been able to find detailed information about Aztor F(10/145) either on the net or on discussion forum. The medicine is also not commonly available with chemists. Can any one tell me about the second salt (apart from Atorvastatin) contained in the medicine and what are its properties.combination of salts contained in this ## My total cholesterol is 245mg/dl.triglycerudes 318 mg/dl.hdl is 45mg/dl.and ldl 136mg/dl. I have been using C-Pram S 10 for 2 years and my weight has increased from 92kg to 112kg... Does this medication have any side effects? I take this every day in the morning along with Ramister 2.5 mg. ## All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, even over the counter products. C-Pram S contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, which is an SSRI class antidepressant and they are well known to cause weight gain. Ramistar contains the active ingredient Ramipril, which is an ACE inhibitor that's used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. I'm taking Thyronorm 25, Gemer 2 Ramister 2.5 & Nitrcontin 2.6 - one each daily for six years. I don't have ischaemic problem now. Can I discontnue nitrocontin now? ## Have you discussed this with your doctor? You may not be currently suffering an ischemic problem, because the medications are doing their job and keeping it under control. It could return, at any time, if this is the case and you suddenly just stop on or more medications. I have been suffering from R Arthritis, Interstitial Lung disease and Hyper Tension. prescribed doses increased from 8mg to Predmet 16 for last two months following recent problem of Coughing. Presently my eyes(bottom lead) swelled , puffed (or puffy) lids. In addition having noted compression fracture in L1 and L4, Osteoporosis?. It is due o prolonged use of Predmet for last two years with varying dose. BP is controlled. Other medicines: Ramistar 5mg+Minipress XL 5mg,Citromacalvit1200mg,PantocidIT one tab per day. What are the side effects of Ramister-H (2.5mg) other than a cough? ## Ramistar-H contains Ramipril and Hydrochlorothiazide, so the common side effects can include nausea, headache, dehydration and hypotension. Are you having unusual ones?
