What is a purple pill with 30 on one side and an M on the other side, I just found it in my couch cushion yesterday. Is it morphine? My step son used to be an iv drug user, is this a drug you can mainline? ## This tablet contains Morphine 30 mg (NDC 0406-8330). Inactive Ingredients: - Hypromellose 2208 (15000 Mpa.s) - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Polyethylene Glycols - Polydextrose - Silicon Dioxide - Titanium Dioxide - Triacetin - Fd&c Blue No. 2 - D&c Red No. 7 Ref: DailyMed ## yes this can be mainlined although it can be dangerous to do so as the pill is for time release purposes and would have to be crushed. water added and heated to remove the time release substance. hope this helps,

what does a purple 30mg morhine capusle look like ## The only purple 30mg capsules I can find are ones under the brand name Kadian, the entire capsule is purple and in black writing going around the capsule it says KADIAN on the top half and 30mg on the bottom half. How many hours apart ## 1x evry 8 hours ## wife had terminal cancer,prescription :morphine sulf ir 30mg tab tab, mfg:ethex corp. direction on script take 1 to 3 tablets every four to six hours as needed ## Morphine should be taken in the exact way your doctor prescribed it to you. Everyone is different, and each person reacts differently to dosage and mg amount. If you did not recieve your prescription from an MD, I would watch out for overdose symtoms. purple pill ## Has anyone ever heard of Statex? I live in Canada and I take 25 mgs of statex which replaces my morphine. ## What are the markings on the pill in question? What is in the Mylan 30 mgs ER that makes the pill so large when Endo 30 mgs ER is so tiny ## It just depends on the fillers/inactive ingredients that the company has chosen to use in them. There is a standard list of substances that the FDA considers inactive and safe, that they can chose from using, when manufacturing their tablets, some cause the pill to be larger. I found a pill with a N on one side and nothing on the other. Someone told me this was morphine. ???? ## The closest match I'm finding to your description happens to be Morphine (30mg), however, this pill appears redish in color with the number "30" imprinted on the other side: imageshack.us/photo/my-images/831/img0051t.jpg It could just be the camera lighting of the photo, but others have regarded this pill as being dark purple in color (perhaps quite similar to blue).
