Purepac Xanax

I've used xanax off and on for years. Recently I was given a RX for the 2mg bars (less expensive). I took less than 1/8 of one and it made me so nauseous, awful. Anyone else experience this? Had it filled at Woemart. ## Never heard of a purple bar, had purple footballs. Perhaps you are allergic to the color purple? ## Your doc instructed you to take 1/8 of a 2mg xanax? That's odd. Why not prescribe .25 or .5? Perhaps something else made you nauseous. I have not seen purple 2mg bars either. ## Darlin, sorry to hear about your reaction to the med. Do you happen to know who manufactured the pills were getting filled before? Even a color / shape / marking might help to verify as well. I've seen situations where even the same generic drug from different companies acts differently...

I have two pills with the same P 039 imprints. They identify as purepac 2mg. Alprozam. What I can't figure out is why they don't look the same. The color is slightly different, but it is very noticeable when compared side by side. One is a brighter yellow and the other looks more orange. The brighter yellow pill is very similar in length, but it appears to be almost twice as tall next to the yellow/orange pill. ## Did you mean the bar with the R 039 imprint? If so, it seems those are just due to some differences in the manufacturing process, depending on which plant has manufactured that particular pill. Pill is a narrow elongated yellow pill with Purepac Logo and number 039 on one side and 3 notches equally spaced on the other side. Need help on possibly fake xanax bars, they are exact duplicates of the yellow P 039 but they are light green in color. NDC info shows they should be yellow, I've also seen some info that there are legit white bars with the same imprint.These measure out to the millimeter and match the yellow bars in every way except they are green, almost lime green, with dark green shading along the sides, thanks to all for any info ## I'm taking Lime Green bars right now made by SunPhama, These are the only Green ones I've seen? Now I will preface this post by saying that this is IMO, and not based on any actual testing, but my own empirical data and experience. The yellow "School-Buses", of generic 2mg Xanax, formerly made my Actavis/Purepac Pharmaceuticals ... Now that Actavis has been bought out by Teva, the bars may look the same, but 2 whole Actavis/Teva bars is equal to a quarter (4mg/Teva=.25mg) of of Greenstone LLC. ## Whatever you do, don't share this perceived knowledge with your prescriber ## Why do you say that?

American generics in general have a pretty poor reputation in the rest of the world, and are priced higher than brands in almost any other country. Alprazolam has been removed from the UL NHS and is only available as Xanax brand - probably higher priced than in the US! We are forced to access our alps from other countries, the finest being found in Belgium, Argentina & Serbia. I have tried several US alps, kindly sent by kindred spirits there, but only one, the 1 & 2mg by GREENSTONE, were any good at all. Sandoz' GG249 are amongst the poorest I've had. I am, however, interested in the yellow Purepac bars, which, being owned by Actavis, who make the best generic BZDs in the UK, I imagine (and have heard) should be of fine quality. I just found out that Actavis was bought out by Watson! Fist they were PurePac then Actavis (yellow bars) and they were the a 10 on a scale of 1-10. All benzos as most of you probably know that are made by Watson are terrible. My pharmacy special orders Actavis Clonazepam for me and I asked for them to do the same but they called me back and said her computer said Actavis but she was sent Watson. Its also all over the net. I wonder if this means out beloved and most potent clonazepam and alprazolam will be Watson when they run out. Ivax was bought by Teva and now the script bottle says Ivax but the pills say Teva. The bottle and pill used to say Ivax and the Ivax were faster and longer acting and much stronger. This is not good news for people who know the truth about generics... ## I m...

i got omnes that were rounded at the edges and thicker than usual. i would like tooo know what they contain and if they have aNY alprazolam in it. i dont feel much when i take it ## Sounds to me that you have a counterfeit version of Actavis USA's Purepac brand 2mg alprazolam. These are branded as ALPROX (which I have never tried so can not give any opinions on strength or efficacy, although I have heard that they are indeed alprazolam but as with most Pakistani medicaments, are understrength.) Personally I would like, as an alprazolam user myself, to get hold of the real pill, whose imprint is 'P' (not 'R', though it is an easy mistake to make since the P for Purepac is a stylised logo with a small diagonal beneath the letter, which many mistake for an 'R') ...

Purepac substituted for Xanax 1 mg tablets they are round blue and have the number side 1 031 and side 2 R. What are they. They don't seem like they work well. ## Hello, Hopiz! How are you? I would like to know if the colors on xanax bars mean anything, like strength? I have seen the long bars with four lines to divide them in white, yellow, and green. Any info you can give me would be great, thanks. Anybody tried ALPROX brand 2mg bars? The ones I saw carried the same Actavis imprint (formerly Purepac) P039. When it comes to alprazolam from India I usually get Cipla TRANAX, the best pure alp (most alprazolam in India is in combination with sertraline) in India. It is better than ALPRAX by Torrent - do not confuse with AlprOx. Any experiences? Also looking for quality report on another brand I have been offered, PEX-2. I got these xanax the other day and should've known something was up since they were only 2 bucks a peice. When i got home i realized that the cursize looking "R" thats normally on them wasnt there it was a "P". A cursive looking P without the 'leg' that an R has. Have any of you encountered these before? Even the Purepac ones have that disconnected little line that some confuse for an R but these have nothing.
