So an over the counter med, not prescription strength, but it is used to relieve congestion from colds and such.

An oval pill that looks kind of like a vicodin, has an MP and on the opposite end has 424 with a line in the middle. It is white and not a capsule. Pretty big. ## This is Guaifenesin 600mgs and Pseudophedrine 120mgs, a generic for Mucinex D, used to relieve congestion.

ANAHISTMINE ## This contains Methscopolamine and Pseudoephedrine, the Methsopolamine is an acid reducer, and the Pseudo is a decongestant. ## This previous post is quite inaccurate. Allerx DF contains no pseudophedrine HC decongestant. It does contain the methscopalomine, which does more than act as an acid reducer. It also has an antihistamine. Look this up elsewhere for information!

small red round pill ## A generic version of Sudafed, manufactured by Perrigo. Basic nasal decongestant - does not help flu or cold symptoms, or do anything for allergies. This pill is meant to get rid of nasal congestion and nothing more. ## To be exact, this is Pseudophedrine 30mgs. I wrote the company that makes Drixoral several months ago and they recommended Claritin D. It doesn't work nearly as well as Drixoral. I can't stand the sick feeling or bad allergy symptoms I have without Drixoral. ## I have had success with ClaratinD 12 hour(it has pseudophedrine sulfate) and Wal mart's Equate children's cough & cold DM elixer (it has Brompheniramine maleate) I could not find any product with dexbrompheniramine maleate in it but the brompheniramine maleate seams to work.
