Can this med.constipate me? ## Prednisone is a steroid class medication and actually, it usually causes diarrhea as a side effect in most people that take it, along with nausea, weight gain and fluid retention. Tyenol PM or advil PM ## Can't sleep on prednisone what can I take yo)to. help me ## I would recommend staying away from the Advil/Ibuprofen, because it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and taking it with the Prednisone can seriously increase the risk of developing stomach problems, such as bleeding ulcers. There are, however, no interactions listed between taking the Prednisone, with the Tylenol PM, which contains Acetaminophen and Diphenhydramine, but you may want to double check that with your pharmacist to be certain. Hi i today is my girdt day i habe ro take this medication , i have to take 1tab oral, two times a day . Yesturday i was given a steroid shot however today when i woke up my upper stomach hurts i feel very uncomtable it still hurts !!! Is this normal?, and am i going to keep having stomach pain when i take the medication ! Can i take tumms to take pain away , Also will i gain weight?? Please write back i need to know !

If they are still in the original sealed bottle from the factory, then they have a 3 to 4 year expiration date, if kept in a cool, dark, dry location, which would be less than the temperature you've mentioned. I have been prescribed to take 20 mg prednisone a day but haven't started taking it yet because of the scary side effects. I had a allergic reaction to some makeup or cream and had very swollen and red eyelids/skin. Was prescribed 8 pills of 20 mg prednisone to take 2x/day for 4 days. I look so much better after taking the 3 pills, can I just stop now or is it like an anibotic and I need to finish the course of the pills? Hey, I just got prescribed prednisone 20 mg for a horrible allergy reaction to pet dander and (normal summer reactions). I was wondering if it was suitable to take my first dose tonight? 8pm! I have to be up early tmrw and need to sleep, but also in a lot of discomfort. Any advice would be much appreciated. I also have antihistamines prescribed as well. I was diagnosed with steroid withdrawal after receiving 3 steroid shots. and given a 12 day taper. When I got down to last pill the pain in my 2 shoulders and hip came racing back. I'm surprised that it doesn't actually clarify this on the packaging label though.
