How long do the withdrawls from methypredinson 4 mg packs and valtex 1000 mg withdrawls last after finishing the treatment? I took this for 7 days due to a bells palsy attack , I take birthcontrol and now I have terrible breakthrough bleeding , exhaustion, body aches, sweating ,appetite out of control, and diaharea !, I have been off the steroid and valtex for three days now! Help please! ## Hello, Cajun! How are you doing? Has there been any improvement, yet? It may take a week, or so for things to settle down and for these effects to go away, though the breakthrough bleeding may take a bit longer. That's likely due to the Methylprednisolone, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience insomnia and acne.

The best time to take predinsone is during the day because the side effects usually occur at night and it has been proven to make u feel very restless and moody be certain to drink plenty of fluids to keep your body hydrated while taking this steroid i have had asthma all my life it is normally controlled with my albuterol but spring calls for prednisone lol hope this was helpful.... ## Thanks for sharing that bit of information. Prednison & Plavix can you take this combo ? ## If you take plavix & have a stent in your heart, can you take predinsone to gain weight ## I'm not finding any contraindications regarding taking them together, however, you should always consult a doctor or pharmacist to be certain. And no, unless your doctor has specifically instructed you to take it, you shouldn't use Prednisone, if you are a heart patient. It can cause fluid retention and, if you are an existing heart patient, this ups your risk of suffering congestive heart failure.
