The side that doesn't have 40 on it has a line down the middle but i can't read what it has going around the pill ## The closest match I could find shows that the pill is identified as Furosemide (40 mg). However the markings you are unable to read can significantly change what this pill could be. On this specific pill I located, the number 40 is on one side; and on the other side there is a score line across the middle, with the words 'Mylan' on the top half of the line and the numbers '216' on the bottom half. Does this sound or look familiar based on what you can see? Until we can figure out what the other side says, it is going to be difficult to determine what this tablet contains, unless you would pay to have it lab tested, somewhere... ## Its a _____ and I...

white oblong tablet. 1 side says ethex the other says 216, if i take a meal and then the tablet, whitin a min i star vomiting everything i ate. ## I located the pill in description to be a Prenatal Multivitamin by the name of Prenatal RX 1. Prenatal multivitamins help provide the necessary vitamin and minerals plus additional elements to support a healthy pregnancy. That said, I'm not sure as to why it would invoke vomiting. I would suggest asking your local pharmacist if it is in fact a prescription. Most vitamins are not prescription-based to my knowledge, but maybe these pills in particular have something you could be allergic to. It's just a thought, but I think you should consider other vitamin options if this one has that effect every time; that way you can know for certai...

I found this pill under my dresser. I’m told it’s a contraceptive, but my current birth control pills are not blue. I’ve never taken Tri-previfem before, which is what it’s identified as, but I have taken Ortho-tricyclen and TriNessa which are alternate brand names I’m told. Would the inscription be the same across the different brand names? ## Confirming that the pill you found corresponds with the markings found on Tri-Previfem (NDC 0603-7663). While it does contain a similar active ingredient profile as Ortho-Tricyclen (NDC 50458-191) and TriNessa (NDC 21695-407), the inscription should differ across brand names. The general rule is that each drug is required to have a unique imprint across manufacturers and doses. So even if it was the same manufacturer...
