I have been reading all the input and I would just like to say that I am a 35 year opiate dependent person with back problems and GI problems for some of the people suffering people I would just like to say that there are alternatives and ways of the attaining pain medication first of all they don't have a regular oxycontin 100 milligram and for that matter its a 160 milligram and its green sold in Canada not the US for the people with a the lot of issues try using oxymorphone instead of hydromorphone it's much better its time release you and it is a mixure of oxy and dilaudid. I have in my hand two narco tablets which both look alike in size and shape one is a 7.5 mg and the other a 10 mg both are white and made by Watson the only way to tell the difference is the 7.5 mg has imprinted on it Watson 3203 and the 10 mg has Watson 853. My question is why in the hell would a pharmaceutical company make these pills look so much alike are they not afraid of mixups? If you check it out you will see why I am upset about this since they stopped putting the color onto these pills its hard to tell the difference. Also does it melt on your tounge? ## No, all Morphine tablets have markings on them, to enable their identification and there aren't any that are meant to be dissolved in the mouth, in the U.S. Two that are commonly designed as sublingual tablets are Suboxone and some forms of Methadone, but even those in the U.S. have markings on them to enable their identification. There was only DICODID made by knoll in Germany but it was withdrawn last year. Only Hydrocodone now available is ZOHYDRO SR in the USA. It is also made in combination with high amounts of acetaminophen, usually 325, 500 or 650mg, one goes as high as 750mg! But there is legislation coming into force limiting any dosage unit of acetaminophen (paracetamol) in the USA (where 100% of the entire world's Hydrocodone is now used since the deletion of DICODID) to 300mg. Abbott have already issued their new 10/300mg pill. But I am afraid that Hydrocodone as a single drug now is only available as an SR med under that ZOHYDRO brand.
