Hi, I am taking Percocet 10/325 for back, hip and leg pain. I recently had a multiple level Lamonectomy. When I was first prescribed this medication the pills were oblong and white. The next prescription that was filled was percocet 10/325 as well, however they were round, yellow and they seemed so much stronger. The white ones I had in the first prescription seemed to leave a lot of white residue in my medicine bottle. The yellow did not. The yellow round ones relieved my pain much better and I did not have to take as often. Both being generic and were 10/325 could it be the way they metabolize in your system? yellow, oblong/oval pill, cant read one side since its been in my wallet for awhile, the other side clearly says percocet. I just want to be sure its a percocet before i take it as i have had many bad reactions to other pills and this is the one that i have not. Just got these pills from my pharmacy after getting long white ones with the imprint m523 on it which by the way I love. But these new ones from alvogen are absolutely horrible!! Yes there is a big difference in the manufacturers of these pills. The white, round, WATSON 925s seem to work best as far as pain relief and "highness". I've read where people say it's IMPOSSIBLE to fake the yellow 10/325 percocet and whoever believes that is sadly mistaken. The biggest sign is that sometimes the yellow is a little worn or the pill had white spots on it. The second is that the instant the water hits your mouth they almost instantly dissolve and you can hardly swallow the chalk in your mouth. The third and most important sign is this: if you hold a prescription pain killer up to the light it had a sort of gloss/sheen to it. The fakes do not have this. The only exception would be if the pills were REALLY old they may have lost their sheen. But for me, that is the biggest thing. Fakes are rare, but don't be so naive. INVESTIGATE. Is there any sort of imprint on your capsule? I got my prescription filled and when I got home from the pharmacy in the bottle I had the white IP 206 Oxycodone instead of my normal Percocet 10 yellow pill.
