What is conversion of Pota Vi Kin 8000000 U to Pen Vee K? Is it 500 mg or higher? I have a sinus infection. ## To answer your first question, Penicillin V K (Potassium) is the same as Pota-Vi-Kin. If your sinus infection is caused by bacteria, then yes, it could work. However, I have read that sinus infections are usually caused by a virus, and in that case the medication would most likely have no effect. I would seek the advice of your doctor if you try the Penicillin V and nothing happens. If I can recommend anything else, it would be to make sure you avoid mucus-forming foods such as: flour products, eggs, chocolate, fried and processed foods, sugar and dairy products.
