Please let me know where Penicilina Pomada may be purchased or if it's something that requires a prescription? ## As to such a product, since it contains Penicillin, in the U.S. it is only available by prescription from your doctor. It is an antibiotic and if use improperly, there is a risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria, which may be dangerous. The brand you mentioned is from Mexico and it's available there over the counter, but not in the U.S., as I said. That is a natural process, because skin cells are killed and damaged, while the tattoo is done, so nothing is going to stop a layer or two of skin from peeling off. No, topical ointments will not make the ink run, it is actually down in the tissue and not on the surface where that could happen.
