Paracetamol Side Effect In Pregnancy

My sister has been suffering from gastritis and she has been prescribed with Pan D and lesuride medicine.She has been taking these medicine for a month and now she came to know that she is two months pregnant.Further she is prescribed to take these medicine for three months.Unknowingly she has taken 10 pieces of paracetamol since she was suffering from headache too.Will there be any effect on baby's development?Does she need to stop the medication?Please kindly do let me know soon.Thank you

i am a student of medical i want to know nimesulide is safe in pregnancy? ## No; it's contraindicated in pregnancy and should be taken with caution in lactating females. If you have any pain then go for paracetamol. Nimesulide is one of the best pain management drug but due to certain side effects all advantages are outweighed by side effects like hepatotoxicity and bad effect on kidney. If you have GI problems, hpersentivity, ulcers, bleeding problem, kidney and liver problem please avoid this medicine. And it's also not safe for children below 12.

Looking at the possible side effects of each active ingredient appears to be the best way to determine Zerodol's side effects during pregnancy (as I was unable to find any other related info on Zerodol itself): The precautionary guidelines for Aceclofenac states that it must not be used during pregnancy. I am on several medications and I would like to know if they harm a baby early in a pregnancy. I may be pregnant, less than 3 weeks along (waiting for blood tests) but I am worried that my life-long medications have already harmed the baby if I am in fact pregnant. I have been using large amounts of stilpane and I am kinda addicted to it I am 3weeks pregnant how will that effect my baby. ## Stilpane contains Paracetamol, Meprobamate, Caffeine, and Codeine. So, the NIH warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and you baby could be born addicted to it. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, and anorexia. nimesulide can have during 1st trimester of pregancy ## No, the FDA, doctors and various scientists that have tested it have serious questions about its safety at any stage of pregnancy and do not advise it to be used at all. Hi this is padma..i get married 4 months before..i have dought for this okacet tablets..can i used this tablet for cold,, fever,bodypains... any side effects whenn am gettign pregnent time..i was some fear about this tablets.. ## Well from what I know okacet contains cetrizine which is an anti histamine. Hence it is meant to be taken to temporarily drive away symptoms of allergies like a runny nose, itching and watering of the eyes. Don't think it helps any with fever and body pains. Take a paracetamol to deal with that. Side effect is mainly drowsiness but might cause a heavy head and headache. Won't affect ur fertility or chances of pregnancy. Not to worry.
