White NORCO 539.. is that the real deal or just a knock off.. and also heard that now company's are going to make it to when u break on in 1/2 a chemical reaction takes the Codien out of it. Not that I care but is that possible? ## Hello, TX84! How are you? Yes, this is the name brand, so it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Thus, it does not contain codeine and I don't know anything about the formula being changed, sorry. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## The Reply was almost confusing on the second part lol Could you be a little more better please. Im not sure if that was in pa...

I've been on pain management for many years due to chronic pain from degenerative arthritis and fibromyalgia. Taking 10/325 Qualitest/Par that worked for pain with no side effects. Helping to live a quality life. Last month I was given Lupin white 10/325. Terrible side effects. Borderline migraines, anxiety, tightness, little pain relief, lack of hunger and crying in pain in the night. Called many pharmacies to try and find the yellow Norco meds that work, no luck. Called Qualitest/Par to find a local pharmacy that carries them. Qualitest no longer manufactures hydrocodone products!! Does ANYONE have any med change options I can discuss with my doctor? He is aware of what is going on. ## Good luck finding anything these days due to the so called opioid crisis! My husband and I have ...

I am scheduled to take 1, 3 times a day. they are orange (light) a V on one side, scored and say on the back; 36 score mark 05. I have taken as many as 4 at one time w/o getting relief, but do feel there is a small amount in them, just to keep from withdrawal. ## In addition, I got this RX from the hospital pharmacy, no independent parties were involved. Are these places more likely to get less potent or fake tablets? or was there misuse of the main ingredients in the manufacturing process? ## Most likely it's just that the medication doesn't work well for you for pain. Not everything works for everyone that tries it, which is why there are usually multiple options to try in any therapeutic medication category. Additionally, if you've taken it before, your body may have buil...

Hey guys, I recently had my script filled at my Walgreens and they switched to Par Pharmecuticals for my Norco 7.5/325 ( which I've been taking for years ) it's now a peach pill with a cursive v on one side and 36/05 on the other. Has anyone taken these before as I have never seen these in the past 7 years under my pain management "care." I have to take them for my Degenerative Disk Disease, slipped fusion, osteoarthritis all the way up my spine, narrowing disc space causing pinched nerves and a new herniated disk. I'm 36 and refuse to go back on fentanyl. Just wondering if these have caused problems with anyone. Thank you in advance for any reply! ## The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nause...

What numbers would I need to look up for Norco 5 mgs? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? I'm sorry, but there are far too many on the market for me to be able to list all the descriptions and markings for you, since Norco is available as both a brand name and generics. Are there any markings on the pill in question? That is what would enable me to check what it contains for you. Can you please post back and clarify? The tablet you mentioned in your subject like is manufactured by Physician Partner and they list it as containing 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache.

Is it safe to take Trazodone and Norco together at bedtime? I'm prescribed both and both say "1 at bedtime", but I'm very paranoid about mixing meds. I've had doctors mess up and overdose me. ## Taking them together may cause you to experience more side effects than usual, according to FDA reports, which may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and problems with concentrating. Thus, they can be taken together, if your doctor has prescribed them both, but they should be monitoring you regularly to watch for any problems. What doses have been prescribed? Are you on any other medications? ## Trazodone 50mg take 1 at bed time Norco 5-325 take 1 at bed time Tramadol 50mg Take 1 tablet every 6 hrs as needed Flexirl 5mg Take 1-2 every 8 hrs as needed I have Rheumatoid Art...

I had seven yellow norcos in a bag and left them in the pocket of my pants... put the pants in washer for a few min. They are still yellow an only desolved a lil. Will they still work??? ## From your description, I would probably encourage you to toss them for one good reason; and that's because you probably don't want to ingest any residue from whatever laundry detergent you used at the time. If it were not for that, IMHO, they might've still been fine to take, but may be noticeably less potent from having been partially dissolved. I hope this helps!

I've been taking hydrocodone since December of 2012. After my unsuccessful shoulder surgery and then finding out that I have severe arthritis in both hips. My insurance paid for the first 12 prescriptions, since then I've paid for them out of my own pocket, which was only around $14 a month. Yesterday I went to Walgreens to get a refill and the clerk said they would be 62.85! I thought there must be some mistake. So I headed to Walmart, they had gone up to 68.01! Then I headed to a small town pharmacy and they charged me $25. I was relieved, but, very confused! Does anyone know why there has been such a steep price increase on hydrocodone? I can't find anything about on the net! ## Hello! Very sorry for the sudden price change. However no, I am not aware of any particular re...

I have been reading this BBs discussed w/ numerous pharmacists some understand and others just nod but nowhere is it not known or been said the yellow beats the white even when made by the same company. I believe this from first hand experience. It no longer matters to me if I simply have an affinity for yellow or colored pills in general. Yellow is good, if the pills are the same defunety I will take the small yellow Norco 10/325 (x2) rather than a handful of the white ones. Is that simple enough? The company needs to know yellow = great, white = bad and do whatever they have been doing change nothing. It is ridiculous to stress chronic pain patience over 1 part per million or some $00.02 die per 1000 pills or more just go with what works please. Put a V in it and make it tight with a ...

G037 10-325 ... is this norco? Is this a norco pill? ## Hello, Sabrina! How are you? Yes, it's manufactured by Tris Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## This particular generic has caused me severe stomach cramps and I have never had this problem before (after 15 yrs and many different generics) this is the first for that generic. White Watson 10/325 Norco is ineffective and did not show in my system! How did that happen??? I want my yellow Norco back. Anyone know who carries these nationally? ## Qualitest is the yellow one. The white ones do not work. ## Pharmacies vary on the generics they carry. They may carry one generic this week and not have it again for a few weeks, months or the rest of the year. You have to call right before you go and ask to speak to the Pharmacist. Ask the Pharmacist if they carry a particular generic brand. Be sure and tell the Pharmacist how many tablets your prescription is for and the mg. If you can't get this info over the phone, ask to speak to the Pharmacist Before you turn your prescription in. ## Is the (yellow 3601 V) Better then the White Watson ## @Brad, The overall con...

maker of oval shaped white Norco imprint lp 110 please? ## Hi alancat, To answer your question, Amneal Pharmaceuticals is the name of the company who produces "IP 110" generic Norco 10/325 tablets; used for moderate to severe pain. The pill is described as being a white oblong-shaped tablet with a score line going down the center on one side and IP 110 on the other. This can all be verified by looking at the manufacturer's product catalog at: prd03.apsiva.net/amneal/#/details/2023/30100924; where you'll also notice a photograph of the tablet on the top right part of the page. i heard that norco had less tylonal and asprin than in vicodan ## Norco - 5/325 - has: hydrocodone 5 mg. and acetaminophen 325 mg. Norco - has 10 mg hydrocodone, and 325 mg acetaminophen. Vicodin - 5 mg hydrocodone and 500 mg acetaminophen. Vicodin ES - 7.5 mg. hydrocodone and 750 mg acetaminophen. ## Neither Norco, nor Vicodin have Aspirin in them. They have acetaminophen (APAP). ## Correct; neither have aspirin. Vicodin is probably the worst hydrocodone-containing compound available. The absolute lowest amount of liver-destroying paracetamol (acetaminophen in the USA) in any 'Vicodin' product is 500mg. What is generally referred to as 'Norco' (Watson) is 10mg/325mg. However, in personal eperience of this rather weak narcotic analgesic which is also completely overprice...

I have rapidly failing health, Graves Disease, Hyperthyroidism, low blood pressure which causes me to faint often, severe back and neck pain, from an accident in 2010, when I rolled my car 4 times... This is when my migraines became nearly unbearable to the point of vomiting from the pain. My health, and broken body prevent me from being able to work, and I'm only 39 years old! I have a sweet little toddler, turns 2 in August, and it seems that since my pregnancy my health started as a snowball, now I have an avalanche burying me. Can someone please tell me how, if possible, to start pain management with Norco 1000 mg's? Need help, can't eat, sleep, drive, exercise - I am in too much pain to participate in my own life. It's heartbreaking. ## Hello, Karen! How are you? Th...

I've been taking norco 10-325 for approximately 1 1/2 years due to a herniated disc. I had a laminecty and partial discecty this morning. I was prescribed Percocet 10-325 and Valium 5mg and was instructed to continue all previous medications. I was unsure about taking the norco and the Percocet both but the Percocet is not relieving the pain. Can I take them both. ## The risk of taking both is due to the Acetaminophen that they both contain, according to NIH reports, Acetaminophen toxicity risks causing fatal health conditions. Percocet is stronger than Norco, so if it is not helping your pain, you should consult your doctor, because you may need to try something else. These are the first ones ever I have seen from Pars Pharmacy and they are the lowest quality I have ever had to use. I have been taking norco daily for pain since 2004. I have never complained before about Generic medicine quality but this drug wears off at 2 hours if it even starts to work at all. I reported the pills to FAERS because they feel literally like a placebo. I have also reported this to my Pharmacy, pharmacy manager, the CVS Headquarters was notified and District Manager was notified, my Physician was notified and I saw him a week ago. We had a long discussion. He gave me a new prescription and told me go to a different pharmacy but even talking to pharmacies to learn what kind of Norco they ordered is like almost pulling teeth. The quality of Pars is low quality and very l...
