I have been taking Methadone for over a year at a clinic to get off of some of the pain medications prescribed to me, one of them Xanax (been taking seven years or more) for severe anxiety and PTSD. My doctor that was prescribing my Xanax office closed. Now wondering what to do because I am very close to running out of my benzo and can not seem to find another doctor. I am in desperate need of a private doctor that prescribes methadone. I'm a single mom that works 40 hours a week serving tables. However all the money I make goes to the methadone clinic. It cost me 15 dollars a day to dose and 15 in gas to get there. Can someone please help. I can have all documents transferred from the clinic to a doctors office. also my concern about transferring to a private doctor is the milligrams given daily. Will they start me at the same amount of medication? Jacksonville or Saint Augustine area would be great.
