I have a small white round pill with lines cutting it in quarters and on the other side it has E and below it is 44. I was told it was a roxy 30! Basically, FDA approved prescription drugs are all required to contain a unique imprint code / color / shape from all manufacturers. The fact that this marking is not showing up all over the place can indicate one of the following: 1. It may be an over the counter medication 2. It may be from outside the United States 3. It can be an illegal drug - although I doubt it with this one since the markings are so specific I wish I could be more specific with this post, but at this point it is difficult to tell. I need help identifying two different pills. My new hubby can't remember what they are. One is white, round, cross on front E 44 on back. Can I take two at the same time if I'm in a lot of pain? ## I can confirm that these are over the counter naproxen 220 mg (NDC 0113-4368 among others), which are nsaid fever + pain relievers. That being said, taking two would result in a 440 mg dose, which is actually lower than some prescription doses of 500 mg. As far as dosage instructions for adults 12 and over go, the page on DailyMed states: - take 1 caplet every 8 to 12 hours while symptoms last - for the first dose you may take 2 caplets within the first hour - do not exceed 2 caplets in any 8- to 12-hour period - do not exceed 3 caplets in a 24-hour period So according to the above directions, you should be okay to take 2 caplets for your first dose only. ## Sounds like they are naproxen 220mg i think, often used for pain r...

what do these # mean on solid red capsule with isometh/apap? ## U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. However, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there are many, many pills on the market, both over the counter and prescription that could meet that physical description. Because of this, the imprint (such as 440) is really the key to identifying the pill. Did you have any other questions or comments concerning this?

Says it is mersyndol but pills only have weird S on one side ## Does your pill also have a score line on one side? If so, based on your description, the closest match I'm finding is identified as Serophene 50 mg; used primarily in the treatment of female infertility.
