Round, thick white w/ P 440 on one side ## are there any other imprints? are you certain you have the correct imprint? I can find a 440 pill but doesn't match what you are looking for. Please take a careful look and let me know. ## p440 is correct
I have a small white round pill with lines cutting it in quarters and on the other side it has E and below it is 44. I was told it was a roxy 30! Can anybody help?? ## Based on the description provided, this is NOT a Roxy. The imprint E 44 on a white round is identified as Tizanidine hydrochloride (4 mg). Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00185-4400 Tizanidine is a drug that is used as a muscle relaxant. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Tizanidine Details Hope this info helps! ## Be VERY careful with tizanidine. I had an rx for it for a gunshot wound. It worked great for about a year and then literally overnight it became so powerful that it nearly killed me. I took my normal dose at 8 am and by 9am I could hardly walk, talk, etc. My ...

capsule reddish/brown and white, RDY is on the reddish/brown part and the 440 on the white ## This one has been a challenge to find a definite match for. Basically, FDA approved prescription drugs are all required to contain a unique imprint code / color / shape from all manufacturers. The fact that this marking is not showing up all over the place can indicate one of the following: 1. It may be an over the counter medication 2. It may be from outside the United States 3. It can be an illegal drug - although I doubt it with this one since the markings are so specific I wish I could be more specific with this post, but at this point it is difficult to tell. Are there any other details which you can provide? If anybody else has more questions or details concerning this particular pill, pl...
I need help identifying two different pills. My new hubby can't remember what they are. One is white, round, cross on front E 44 on back. The other is round orang-ish yellow with SL on front 563 on back. ## What does Vicoprofen make you feel? ## Your first pill E44 is Tizanidine 4 mg generic zanaflex a muscle relaxer.Your second pill SL 563 is Cyclobenzaprine 10mg generic Flexeril.I should add that the company that makes this pill has changed it to read PILVA on front rather than SL ## is zanaflex like a xanax ## The identification provided by John is correct. The tablet with the marking E 44 does contain 4mgs of the muscle relaxant Tizanidine (NDC 00185-4400). And the one with the SL or Pliva 463 did contain10mgs of the muscle relaxant Cyclonenzaprine (NDC 50111-0563). This one ha...
Can I take two at the same time if I'm in a lot of pain? ## I can confirm that these are over the counter naproxen 220 mg (NDC 0113-4368 among others), which are nsaid fever + pain relievers. That being said, taking two would result in a 440 mg dose, which is actually lower than some prescription doses of 500 mg. As far as dosage instructions for adults 12 and over go, the page on DailyMed states: - take 1 caplet every 8 to 12 hours while symptoms last - for the first dose you may take 2 caplets within the first hour - do not exceed 2 caplets in any 8- to 12-hour period - do not exceed 3 caplets in a 24-hour period So according to the above directions, you should be okay to take 2 caplets for your first dose only. ## Sounds like they are naproxen 220mg i think, often used for pain r...
Why does my blue Ritalin 10mg tablet turn my mouth blue when I take it? It stains my fingers, teeth & tongue. Why is that? ## Can you please answer a few more questions for clarification - Are you taking the actual brand Ritalin, or its generic equivalent? Regardless, can you please check your prescription label and try to post the NDC code so that it could be possible to check the inactive ingredients listed for that specific version? The reason I ask, is because in checking the NDC database for Ritalin 10 mg, what comes up is a greenish pill with the inscription CIBA on one side, and the number 3 on the other (NDC Code 0078-0440). Just want to make sure that we're talking about the same pill here. Lastly, if I may ask, is this your first Ritalin prescription? Or, if you have b...
i found under my fridge a yellow round small pill with 40 on one side in dark letering, any idea what it is? ## Is there any chance that there's a marking "OC" on the other side of the pill? The closest match I'm finding is a round yellow pill imprinted with 40 on one side and OC on the other; identified as OxyContin (40mgs). Manufacturer: Purdue Pharma LP National Drug Code (NDC): 59011-0440 If this doesn't match your pill, I hope it can at least help to narrow down your search! ## cant see any thing on other side, but the 40 is in dark numbers and its not ingraved in the pill itself ## What is this small round oval like pill yellowish in color marked 40 in black lettering on one side, there is about 6 of them and none of them say anything on other side
what do these # mean on solid red capsule with isometh/apap? ## U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. However, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there are many, many pills on the market, both over the counter and prescription that could meet that physical description. Because of this, the imprint (such as 440) is really the key to identifying the pill. Did you have any other questions or comments concerning this?
Says it is mersyndol but pills only have weird S on one side ## Does your pill also have a score line on one side? If so, based on your description, the closest match I'm finding is identified as Serophene 50 mg; used primarily in the treatment of female infertility. Manufacturer: SERONO National Drug Code (NDC): 44087-8090 You can learn more about this drug on the page for Serophene Details I hope this info helps!

Would it be safe if i tried it? ## Hello, Amanduhh! How are you? No, it isn't safe to take any prescription medication that isn't prescribed for you and approved by your doctor. They all carry risks and could cause possible side effects, so doing so could be dangerous. What medication did you already take for your headache? There are many under the Equate name.

it the same to take one pill of naproxen 500 mg twice a day or 2 pill of gelcap Aleve twice a day? ## Hello, Casandra! How are you? The typical over the counter Aleve in the U.S. contains 220mgs of Naproxen, per gelcap, so taking 2 of them would be 440mgs, thus the prescribed 500mgs is stronger. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## thanks a lot for your answer. The problem I was trying to avoid is the side effects of naxopren It upsets my stomach.
