HELP; i suffered severe spinal injuries nov 2004; first i was prescribed T3's for pain, then tramadol, oxycocet,then oxycontin, anf finally was placed on fentanyl; Due to problems with the patch I chose to start a drug reduction strategy; I went from 50 mg patch's every 48 hrs to every 3 days for a month, then to a 25mg patch every 3 days for a month; then stopped cold turkey, i have some 10 mg ihc oxycontin i take when the pain is unbearable but am having terrible insomnia and just feel like hell warmed over, chills, nausea, feeling yukky. so far i have been able to limit the 10 mgs to 3 a week, but when i take a 10 mg oxy, i feel alot better...what can i do to get off all meds? ## Well, the first thing you have to understand is that Fentanyl is a very potent narcotic, it is ac...

I'm currently taking dilaudid 4mg & a fentanyl 25mg patch. All I can say is that it seems to me that the hydromorphone "dilaudid" isn't effective as my oxys Irs or my morphine Irs used to be. I was wondering if anyone thinks that taking oxy is better than dilaudid ## I am on the same two meds fentanyl 25 & dilaudid 4 & the dilaudid just isn't helping me. I have so much BT pain it's unbearable some days. I was also checking on here if anyone else could answer the same question. " which Med is better than dilaudid and what strength should I be taking? What medicines cause false positives for methadone? Victim of false positive for methadone. Test done at Lab Corp. Urine test. On numerous pain meds from neurontin, allege, ibuprofen (all in large doses) to OxyContin, Norco and oxycodone. ## My Physician called me in to his office.
