Are the pink n p 12 Oxus INSTANT RELEASE OR EXTENDED RELEASE? ## Hello, Auntie! How are you? These tablets are manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and they list them as being regular release tablets, so they begin to work about 15 to 20 minutes after you take them. The OxyIR is only available in 5mg capsules. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Just probably should clarify... it all depends on how long you take it but daily for a couple of months and a habit isnt a possibility... a physical dependence is a promise. pink peach round 20 on one side and CR on the other ## oxycodone 20 mg OP ## There have been other posts mentioning a tablet with the CR 20 marking saying that they are supposed to be a time release formulation of Oxycodone, however, I cannot confirm this. The only legal time released formulation of Oxycodone on the current U.S. market is Oxycontin and the 20mg tablet of the new formulation has the marking OP 20 and the original had the marking OC 20, they should be round and light pink in color. This is a potent narcotic and may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and dry mouth. Is anyone familiar with the tablets that have the CR marking? ## I had a script in July that said oxycodone 20 mg. kvktec on the label ..small grayish pill..don't remember what was on...

I was taking 2 white 5mg oxycodone IR tabs 2x/day but they were only partially useful in reducing my pain. My doctor reluctantly prescribed 2 pink 10 mg oxycodone IR (= 20mg) tabs every 12 hours. The number 048 is on these tabs. I have had them for three days now and I am taking them as prescribed, but they do not seem to work nearly as well as the former 5mg white tabs. Is this an issue that is simply in my head or is there a reason why taking 2 of the pink 10 mg tabs twice a day aren't working like I thought they would? Again, the number on the pink 10mg tabs reads 048. Thank anyone who has some substantive feedback to my question. ## Are you taking an otc Tylenol with the pink 10? Maybe if the 5mg you werr previously taking had Tylenol in it maybe that also helped with the Odin a...

Is 20 mg oxycodone time release or not and how can I tell ## If you're prescribed it, there will be an ER on the bottle, what color is the pill and are there any #'s on it? ## The only time released Oxycodone available in the U.S. is the brand name Oxycontin, which has either an OC or an OP on the tablet and would have a 20 on the other and is pink. If that is not what you have, then you have a regular release formulation that is a generic for Roxicodone. Here's a link to learn more Oxycodone details for anyone that may need it. There is also an instant release, but it is only available in 5mg capsules. What are the markings on the tablet you're asking about?
