From what I understand, because each pill is manufactured by a different company, not only is there going to be a slight variation of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), but also if the medication is in generic form, it is permitted by the FDA to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient as well. For some people, these subtle differences are the equivalent of taking a completely different medication that may be absorbed and metabolized differently within your body (usually resulting in an increased or decreased potency). Hello everyone & top o' the mornin to ya! the medicine you are speaking of and have described, is in fact, a 20mg oxycodone. Oxycodone HCL to be exact..which is pretty much a 20mg instant release percocet with no tylenol added..tiny round grayish pill with 14 and N P & scored imprints... side effects vary..im a little more dizzy than id like to be! not used to feeling this way from these kinds of meds. also the fillers are different & it does not dissolve in liquids or applesauce..but its for those same reasons that companies are changing medicines - so "certain people" cant abuse them. its to be taken by mouth only & the drug companies are trying to keep drug addicted people or needle addicted people from abusing medicines while all at the same time trying t...

Most of these people are just whinners. I've been taking oxys for 15 years or more. Recently the pharmacy i used switched to this brand. There isnt a difference - if blindfolded u coudnt tell the difference. Only beef would be not being able to cut it in half. Again these work as well as thee others. People just like to complain. These pills if held in between lip and gum can help you very much , IF you are trying to slow down on how many you've been taking? They release enough med fast to do the job, but yet they dissolve and hold just enuff med to trickle out almost all night!!! Np 14 Supposed to be equal to 20 mg of Oxycodone /Roxicodone. I just got the script for them and they are terrible. I've been on oxycodone/Roxy for 15 years and can totally tell from the first pill I took that something was wrong with these pills. They make me feel worse. There is no way that these pill are what they claim to be. First of all they make it almost impossible for people that do have legitimate reasons for taking this medicine, impossible to get filled in the first place. I just picked up my medication. Im prescribed oxycodone hcl 20 mgs. Up to this point I hasn't always received the kvkt brand grayish pill with z 57 on it. This time I was dispensed zydus brand gray pill with np 14. I want to know what peoples opinion is on the effectiveness compared to the kvkts. Opana contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone and it is actually stronger than Oxycodone. If you were taking 40mgs of Oxycontin, you would only need 20mgs of the Opana. I found a small, like lite blue or grayish color, with the imprint N F on one side and the number 14 on the other side. I have been taking methadone 20mgs. twice a day, plus 10mgs of oxycodone 4 times a day for the breakthrough pain. This has been my regimen for over 2 years now. But before I was only on methadone by itself since aug of '99. I went from 140 mgs. down to 70 and now I am down to 40. I need to find a pain clinic closer to home. Maybe in TN or Lexington, Ky. Does anybody know of one in these locations? I would greatly appreciate the help.
