The np 12 10mg oxycodone hcl pills are just as good if not better than the k's or A's or any other 10mg oxy for that matter..like the previous person said it all matters how your body metabolized the drug...bottomline everyones chemistry is diffrent...ive been on narcotics since i was 16 and I have always hated the "this brand is better than this brand" discussion ## @Grizzy, You have a good point about 'how the body metabolizes the drug due to different body chemistry', as opposed to one brand being "better" than another. I think there are few exceptions though, like when it comes to certain manufacturers using more or less active/inactive ingredients that obviously give it a greater or lesser advantage than other brands/generics right off the bat. A goo...

my dr. put me on 10 mg. oxycodone and i would like to see if i qualify for it free thru your company, have no Rx coverage and 2 in family income a year is about 22,000 ## Hi JO - please note that this site is informational so I don't think they are involved in helping patients to obtain medication. They do, however, offer a savings card which gives patients a discount at the pharmacy. You might also want to see if you can apply for the manufacturer's patient assistance program (pretty much all of the big manufacturers offer such a program). It looks like Zydus Pharmaceuticals is the company that manufactures the pink NP 12 version of Oxycodone. So can find their contact information on their site: zydususa.com. I hope this info helps! ## I just received this medicine oxycodone 10...

I can tell you with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY the pink round small pill with NP imprinted on one side & 12 imprinted on the other it is generic Roxicodone 10 mg. I take them and they are highly addictive and if misused can be fatal. ## Hi Jeanie, After doing a bit of research, I do agree with you that a round pink pill marked with NP 12 is in fact a generic Oxycodone HCL 10 mg tablet. And yes you're right, these can be highly addictive and dangerous under the wrong hands. I don't know if anyone else has tried to disprove you on the pill's identification, giving you reason to post about it… but this information is also verifiable using its National Drug Code of 68382-0794. I hope this helps! ## I have a herniated l4-5 disc with sciatica and am in serious (8 - 10) pain dail...

I have been taking Oxycodone 10mg NP/12, Zydus brand, for over a year. Last month the pharmacy changed to the K56, KVK tech brand, and they do not help with the pain at all. Zydus brand stops the pain and work find. The KVK don't do a thing. Can anyone tell me why? ## @BC Survivor, Just wanted to let to you know that you're not alone in thinking that that KVK Tech brand is noticeably less potent. Just have a look at some of the following discussion threads here to see what others have to say about it: Discuss/kvk-tech-oxycodone-30-mg-265090.htm Discuss/kvk-tech-oxycodone-30mg-IR-262212.htm Discuss/Kvk-Tech-Oxycodone-10mg-Inactive-Ingredients-247493.htm I for one think it has to do with them using different inactive ingredients than other manufacturers. From what I understand, th...

What other pharmaceuticals make oxycodone 10mg IR besides kvk tech and the ones that have "NP and 12" on the sides. I get headaches as a side effect from these and I'm assuming it's bc of the fillers. I didn't have problems when I used to get 5mg bc there seemed to be more options. I'm thinking I'm going to have to decrease the mg to get a different brand. I don't feel they help at all. Tia ## There are many pharmaceutical companies that make this, far too many to list. The FDA does list headaches as being a possible side effect of Oxycodone, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, constipation, and dry mouth. Which ones are you currently receiving? ## where can i find the fake piller pills for the pink tens for pull counts

I am taking oxycodone hcl 10 mg tablets. my pharmacist filled a new script with np 12 brand. I occasionally divide them to dose only as needed; which does not work very well. They dulled my pill cutters. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this problem? ## Hello, Dust! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you've had. No, that is a new one that no one else has mentioned, at least not yet. Are you making sure to line it up and cut with the little scores that are on the tablet? That usually makes it easier, since that's where they're intended to be cut or broken. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation...

For additional verification, this particular pill carries a National Drug Code of 68382-0794. I hope this helps answer your question! ## Are the pink 10mg oxycodone that say np 12 instant release or extended release?

what brand oxycode 10 mg is most bioavailable? have been on KVK brand for severe arthritis and post joint replacement surgery. Pharmacy just switchted to pink pills with 12 on one side and np on other side. These pills do not provide nearly the same level of pain relief. I previously used KVK brand for breakthrough pain. Are the binders on current brand 12/NP that interfere with effectiveness? can these binders cause harm? what form of this med or similar opiod is most bioavailable?

What's the differents between a 10mg oxycodone with the imprint np12 verses k56? ## Hello, Terra! How are you? They've just been manufactured by different companies, which is common with generics. The one with the NP 12 marking is made by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and the other is made by KVK Tech. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I want to know what is the difference between the yellow oxycodone 10mg with a p and 230 on it. And the pink oxycodone with np and 12 on it? What's the difference between those two pills?? ## Both pills contain 10mgs of Oxycodone... However the yellow one also contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen (aka Tylenol). Additionally, there are also differences in the lists of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that make up each tablet's composition. The yellow tablet contains: corn starch povidone k30 lactose monohydrate crospovidone stearic acid D & C Yellow No. 10 The pink tablet contains: magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose silicon dioxide stearic acid D & C Red No. 27 D & C Red No. 30 aluminum hydroxide I hope this info helps!

Is 20mg oxycodone instant release ok to break in half and only take half. It has 12 on one side and NP on the other with a small line on top and bottom. I take the whole thing and makes me feel really sick. So I wanted to break it in half and only take half. ## Yes, tablets can be cut, or broken, as long as your pharmacist has not directed you not to do so. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you on any other medications? ## While the instant release tablets are usually fine to cut in half, cutting extended-release tablets can be fatal! If you take a 24-hour extended release tablet of oxycodone, it keeps your blood levels constant for 24 hours, as thou...

However, the one I use just received an update and this tablet is listed, it's a regular release formulation, so a generic for Roxicodone. Learn more Roxicodone details here. Can anyone tell me the difference between two oxycodone pills I have ...lst one is...round pink np /12.. and second one is k56 round pink poll ## Hello, Kelly! How are you? There is no difference, they are just manufactured by different companies, which requires that they have different markings on them. It is very common for generics to be manufactured by several different companies and your pharmacy may switch which one they stock, at any time, depending on what company was offering the cheapest price at the time they needed to restock their supply. So both of these contain 10mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, a generic for Roxicodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsi...

Hi, I am prescribed oxycodone HCL 10mg. This medicine helps a lot with my chronic pain but this time when I received my medicine it had this kind in my bottle; the ones with the np and 12 on it. When I take it, it has no affect on my pain. Can you tell me why? What do you recommend? ## I agree th np 12 oxycodone is not like the flat round ones. They do little for your pain and they are NOT immediate release. ## If I had to speculate on why it's not working as well, there could be a variety of factors influencing its efficacy either all at once and/or singularly at different points in time; be it our metabolism and how it changes throughout the day, our tolerance, weight, body chemistry, different inactive ingredients, less active ingredients used in different generics, etc, etc... Found little pink pill round np on one side 12 on the other ## My best guess is that this is an over the counter product manufactured by Naturpharm, they make a variety of nutritional supplements that are sold both online, as well as in many stores.
