has anyone had fake oxycodone? My brother is a dealer and it looks almost perfect as the real thing but it is not. I saw it and you have to have a good eye. Be careful. There is fake stuff everywhere. They steal from people and then put the fake stuff back in the bottle. Can it help insomnia? ## Hello, Jo! How are you? These must be very old tablets, this marking was discontinued back in 2007 or early 2008, I don't remember the exact date. They were manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and contain 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. That said, while it can cause drowsiness, it is not intended to treat insomnia, nor should it be used for such. It should only be taken for pain if your doctor has prescribed it for you. Round white tablet with M512 on one side and nothing on the other side. Supposedly for migraines but not like anything I have ever taken before. ## It is supposed to be a prescription tablet? Is it from the U.S. or elsewhere? Is the M by itself or in a box? I cannot find this listed in any of our prescription drug resources. I do, however, know that there is a Percocet tablet, that contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen that has a 512 on it and there have been some reports that some were also made with an M on them. I cannot confirm this as being true, though.

what is the long term effect on your liver and other organs? I have had C-3 C-4 fusion 1986. L-4 L-5 fusion 2011. I have had shoulder surgery in 05.I'am taken oxycodone 7.5/500mg 3xa day and dilaudid 4mg 4 x a day and gabapentin 600mg 4x a day. He tells me that on a long term that oxycodon with out the tylenol in it will effect my liver. so why did he give me something with 500mg of Tylenol in it? just don't under stand. LOST ## I am not sure I understand why he would do that, either. The Acetaminophen is far more dangerous to your liver than the Oxycodone by itself. Learn more Percocet details here. It's considered a serious narcotic drug, and (from law enforcement standpoint) the implications of using it illegally is basically the same is if you were taking any other hard drug. As for the imprint 512, if the original post is talking about a White, Round, Scored tablet with the imprint 512, then that is a generic Percocet. Is there a medication called percocet 5125. If so, what is it, what does it look like what mg is it? ## No, the medication name would just be Percocet, it contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, so it's a narcotic pain reliever. Sometimes numbers do follow the name to designate the dosage, but there is no Percocet on the market with 5mgs of Oxycodone and 125mgs of Acetaminophen. However, there is on that contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. It is made by several different manufacturers, so the markings on them will vary, depending on who made it. which pill is faster release the one with 512 on it or the one with watson 749 on it ## I have a light green pill with 242 on it it is quick release oxy supposed to be 15 but I think 10, it is not working like 15 ## 512 has 325 mg of Acetaminophen and 5 mg of Oxycodone. white round slash on one side 512 on the other ## APAP is just doctor/pharmacist speak for Acetaminophen, it acts as buffer in this pill for the Oxycodone and also as an anti-inflammatory. This is a very strong narcotic pain reliever, a generic for Percocet. ## I had my tonsils taken out and were given Oxycodone to relieve the pain. The pills were great but i did have some nausea and threw up the first time.
