I am on oxerute CD (one tablet). What is the purpose of this substitute? For how long can it be taken? Are there any side effects associated with this medicine? I am a hypothyroid patient and have been on medication for the past 18 years. My age now is 46+ ## This medication is not used in the U.S., so the information I have on it is very limited.
