I Take 20 Mg XR capsule Amphetamine Salts. They Used To Be Orange capsules but Now it is a blue capsule. What 's The Difference? What changed? ## The EXACT same thing happened to me when I picked up my 20mg XR Generic Adderall. It works the same to me but what's going on!? I can't tell if these are time released or not. Apparently they are generic adderall but I don't know if they are XR or instant release The pills are capsules orange in color I'd say they contain small little balls on the inside and say M. Amphet Salts 20mg ## Time released medications usually have something on them to denote that, such as the XR, CR or ER. And the listings I am finding for this do not list it as time released, either. Amphet Salts 20 mg", that is identified as Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine ER (20 mg). This is gonna be pretty interesting but I'll be honest anyway - I believe my latest rx refill is fake. It does nothing but make my chest and stomach hurt and has remnants of orange capsule beads. Anybody know what any of the pills are that contain orange beads? ## Well, the first question is what medication is it SUPPOSED to be? Hello All, I am not glad that you are having issues, but if am so glad that you post, because I am having the same issue with my 14 year old son. He was taking the blue and white 15 mg Amphetamine salts ER for Narcolepsy with Cataplexy. This is his very first time on the medication, IT WORKED! Well after the first 30 day prescription, good old CVS decided to take it upon themselves and change it to the orange pill, same miller grams, but the name on the bottle is Dextroamp-amphetamine ER. This dose not work at all. My son is constantly falling asleep, and the Cataplexy has complete control over him, causing him to fall at least four to five times a day. I live with a questionable character who I have caught red handed taking my meds from me. I am prescribed amphetamine salts 30 mg xr, generic for adderall. They are orange and clear capsules filled with orange beads.
